Nancy Pelosi doesn’t see “the point” in enforcing immigration law
She won’t lift a finger to try to make the changes needed to correct the problems with current immigration laws. She’ll make all sorts of noises but will, in the end, blame President Trump when the 2 weeks are up.
While discussing immigration at a town hall on Monday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) asked her audience, “what’s the point?” of enforcing immigration with the United States’ bounds.
When I saw the president was going to have these raids, it’s so appalling, it’s outside the realm of civilized human behavior, just kicking down doors and splitting up families in addition to the injustices that are happening at the border,” she said. “We have legislation to go forward to address those needs. But in terms of interior enforcement, what’s the point?”
Pelosi went on to say that she would not pursue the question further, as this was not a “political event.”

Pelosi: Being In The Country Illegally "Not A Reason For Deportation"
There have been some truly dumb statements from that washed-up boozer, but this has to be the stupidist of all.
"I said 'a violation of status is not a reason for deportation,' that’s just not so," Pelosi said she told Trump.
"If you have some case you want to make about somebody who’s been accused...that has nothing to do with violation of status, because then we’re talking about over 10 million people who may be subjected to this treatment, and what we need there is comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship."
They are here illegally!
They have no right to be here!
Is that so difficult to understand?

Sign Of The Times? Weather Patterns All Over The Planet Are Going Absolutely Nuts
A place in England just got over 1 foot of rain in less than an hour.
And, of course, it’s all President Trump’s fault.
Record high temperatures are being shattered all over the planet, but meanwhile some parts of the U.S. were just buried by massive amounts of snow. The sixth largest city in India is literally running out of water due to extremely dry conditions, but in middle America it just won’t stop raining. In fact, the Midwest is getting hammered by more severe storms as I write this article. Meanwhile, Australia is being forced to import enormous amounts of wheat due to the extraordinary drought that nation is currently experiencing. Everywhere you look around the globe we see bizarre weather extremes. Worldwide weather patterns are shifting dramatically, and many believe that what we have witnessed so far is just the beginning.
Just look at what is happening in Colorado.  Some parts of the state got up to 20 inches of snow on Saturday, and as a result Colorado’s snowpack is currently more than 4,000 percent above normal
More than 4.6 million people live in the city of Chennai, India.  Thanks to a drought that never seems to end, the main reservoirs that normally supply that city with water are rapidly going dry
In the next few days, high temperatures are expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) in Spain, and that prompted one meteorologist to warn that “hell is coming”
Temperatures are likely to climb above 40 degrees Fahrenheit in parts of Spain and approach that in Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium. Overnight temperatures will stay balmy, which poses particularly acute health risks to children and the elderly.
More than 50 million people are bracing for severe weather from the Plains to the Southeast as scattered thunderstorms prompt flash flood alerts, possible tornadoes and hail.
A large weather system is expected to bring damaging wind gusts and large hail for parts of the South and into the Appalachians, Ohio Valley and Great Lakes.
Heavy rain and flash flooding inundated parts of southwest Missouri during the weekend, prompting water rescues and evacuations.

Europe swelters as historic heat wave intensifies
Extreme heat causes people to hunker down and just might temper or stop the demonstrations that have gone on across Europe for some time. I don’t remember A/Cs or swamp coolers so there will be a whole lot of fans working full tilt.
What's next: The period from Wednesday through Sunday will feature blistering heat across Spain, Portugal, southern France and Italy, with unusually hot conditions stretching north and eastward into Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
Numerous daily and monthly temperature records are already falling as the hot air mass, known as a Sahara Plume, sets up shop.
On Wednesday, Poland already set a new June temperature record for the country, as did Germany. A station in Berlin reached 101.5°F, which ranks as Germany's hottest June temperature as well.
France had its hottest June day on record Wednesday, and the country's all-time high temperature for the country of 44.1°C, or 111.4°F, may be within reach.
According to weather.com, other countries that could see monthly high temperature records set include: Austria, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Each of these countries' record June high temperatures were set during the past two decades.

Trump: Why Protect Other Countries’ Shipping Lanes For “Zero Compensation”?
China gets 91% of its Oil from the Straight, Japan 62%, & many other countries likewise.” Trump tweeted, making the common mistake of spelling the word “strait” wrong.
So why are we protecting the shipping lanes for other countries (many years) for zero compensation,” he questioned. “All of these countries should be protecting their own ships on what has always been a dangerous journey.”
.a dangerous journey. We don’t even need to be there in that the U.S. has just become (by far) the largest producer of Energy anywhere in the world! The U.S. request for Iran is very simple – No Nuclear Weapons and No Further Sponsoring of Terror!
Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 24, 2019
So why are we beefing up our military forces in the area? Isn’t it time other countries pick up the tab?
And the Left calls President Trump a dictatorial hawk.

Google’s Chrome Web Browser “Has Become Spy Software”
I don’t doubt it. Every time I turn around I find another popup trying to get me to switch to Chrome as my primary browser. I’ll stick to Firefox thank you with reluctantly using Edge because it’s the only way I can access Gab.
Google’s Chrome is essentially spy software according to Washington Post tech columnist Geoffrey Fowler, who spent a week analyzing the popular browser and concluded that it “looks a lot like surveillance software.”

SpaceX finally catches part of a rocket nosecone
It’s taking a while to work out the bugs but the private space explorer is beginning to improve with every launch.
or the first time ever,
SpaceX has caught part of a rocket fairing blasted off during the Falcon Heavy rocket launch - allowing them to reuse the precious, $6 million piece of equipment, rather than building it again.
And America is weaning itself from needing the Russians to put our people and equipment into space.

Boeing Now Parking Grounded 737 MAX Planes In Car-Lots
and
And here’s the kicker:
Several days prior we reported that one of the key issues regarding the plane was whether all pilots had enough upper body strength to turn a crank - a surprisingly low-tech hangup in a scandal that was catalyzed by malfunctioning software.
They can’t turn a crank?
Wouldn’t you love to be the traffic director when it’s decided they’re ready to fly again?

Farmers facing disaster in 2019
These photos are more than just signs of a natural disaster. They are forewarnings for the months ahead and what every household in America faces in shortages and rising prices.

If you do not live in the middle of the country, you may have a difficult time grasping the true scope of what we are potentially facing.
If farmers do not grow our food, we do not eat. This is not a drill, and widespread crop failures are going to have dramatic implications for all of us in the months ahead. Food prices are going much higher, and I urge you to get prepared while you still can.
According to John Newton, the chief economist at the American Farm Bureau Federation, we have never faced “anything like this since I’ve been working in agriculture”. We are truly in unprecedented territory already, and it won’t take very much at all to turn 2019 into a complete and utter national catastrophe.

The Boomers Ruined Everything
Who are they? According to Wikipedia:
The early and mid-boomers were coming of age at the same time across the world, so that they experienced events like Beatlemania and Woodstock, organizing against the Vietnam War, or fighting and dying in the same war. Boomers in Italy were dressing in mod clothes and "buying the world a Coke." Boomers in India were seeking new philosophical discoveries.[citation needed] Some American boomers in Canada had found a new home after escaping the draft. Canadian Boomers were organizing support for Pierre Trudeau. It is precisely because of these experiences that many believe those born in the second half of the birth boom belong to another generation, as events that defined their coming of age have little in common with leading or core boomers.[original research?] Politically, early Boomers in the United States tend to be Democrats, while later boomers tend to be Republicans.[38]
Hippies? Flower children? Sadly the ones now holding high positions in politics and industry. Those behind media giants.
This article points out some interesting stuff they’re responsible for:
Stricter zoning rules
Licensing to work
Average household income
Share of population incarcerated
Future payments for debts and obligations
Percent Change in Age-Specific Mortality Rate, 2012–14 to 2015–17
The odds of a 32-year-old dying have risen by 24 percent in the past five years, even as death rates among older Americans are about stable. Baby Boomers are living longer even as the workers who pay for their pensions are dying from an epidemic of drug overdose, suicide, car accidents, and violence. But, of course, while this sudden increase in working-age death rates is a new concern, the long-run fiscal crunch has been obvious for decades. For virtually the entire period of Boomer political dominance, it has been obvious that long-term obligations needed to be fixed. And yet, the problem has not been fixed. Younger Americans will suffer the consequences.

How the Neighborhoods of Manhattan Got Their Names
I care very little for New York City and know even less. Especially with their current mayor. But, I’m sure there are those out there who might find this interesting.
This surprises me as I’ve never paid attention before.
But, getting down to Manhattan, there’s some stuff to ponder.

Venezuela’s under Cuba’s thumb?
So says Christopher Figuera, the former Venezuela spy master. He says Maduro’s personal security are Cubans and other Cubans are his closest advisors. And we all know that Cuba is being controlled by strings leading to Moscow.
This very lengthy article tells of the planned coup and who it failed.
Power outages in March paralyzed the country and Cuba promised to send “advisors” to help.
When the call ended, Figuera said, Maduro appeared relieved. Castro had promised to dispatch a team of Cuban technicians to help solve the problem.
Raúl Castro was like an adviser for Maduro,” Figuera said. “If he was in any meeting, it would be interrupted if Castro was on the phone.”
In April, Figuera said, he delivered a message to Maduro in a locked suitcase. Only he and Maduro had the code. He described the country’s situation as deplorable and suggested new elections.
Maduro texted him the next day.
He called me a coward, a defeatist,” Figuera said. “That’s when I knew I had to act.”

Are Arabs turning their backs on religion?
This is first of 7 charts BBC claims is based on interviews with 25k people in 10 countries and the Palestine Territories.
It astounds me that such beliefs can exist.
And the Left continues to support Islamic beliefs and Sharia.

A SCOTUS decision cuts back judicial deference to agencies
It took me a bit to understand just what this was all about. Getting to this made it a bit clearer:
At bottom, Kavanaugh makes the perfect analogy that sums up the unanimous Court’s position: “Umpires in games at Wrigley Field do not defer to the Cubs manager’s in-game interpretation of Wrigley’s ground rules.” Administrative agencies are now on notice that it’s not “anything goes” when they decide to rewrite their own rules, that judges will hold their feet to the statutory fire.

Here Are the Cold and Flu Remedies That Actually Work
I wonder if Grandma’s chicken soup is on the list.
Cold weather doesn’t literally make you sick, but the winter season does indeed make you more prone to catching a bad cold. Chilly conditions mean you spend more time indoors, where bacteria and viruses are more likely to linger in the air and on surfaces you touch, and the drop in temperature leaves your mucus membranes dry, irritated, and more vulnerable to infection.
Here’s the listed solutions:
Take a break
Avoid alcohol
(Yep! Here it comes)
Speaking of Hot, Liquid Comfort: Soup Can’t Hurt
Be Kind to Your Mucus Membranes (gargle apple cider vinegar)

Obama & Co Kept List Of Muslims For Admin Jobs, Excluded Christians Purposefully From List
The man admitted in a video that he was Muslim. He continually invited Muslim groups to the White House. He attended a Muslim school in his youth.
Why is everybody surprised or denying his ties to Islam?
According to an email chain from 2008, John Podesta received lists of exclusively Muslims and Asians to be considered for jobs in the Obama administration. The email chain revealed that in this process, Middle Eastern Christians were purposefully excluded, or set aside in a separate list, with an aide writing,
She continues, “I suspect some of the people I list would not survive such a vet — but I do personally know, at least in part, virtually all of the candidates in the 1st two categories (but I know very few of those listed for outside boards/commissions).”
Within the lists themselves, candidates were further broken down, with every candidate labeled by their nationality and sometimes race.
