Democrats Move to Make Gun-Makers Liable for Gun Crimes, Who’s gonna replace Sara Sanders? 20 everyday tasks that nobody does anymore, What the Mueller report didn’t say, and much more for June 16, 2019

Democrats Move to Make Gun-Makers Liable for Gun Crimes
When I stop laughing I have to pause to think just how idiotically stupid this is.
Do we hold car makers accountable for all vehicle deaths?
Do we go after distillers for the deaths caused by their beverages?
We also make big Pharma pay up for every prescription drug related death?
Democratic lawmakers introduced legislation Tuesday to hold gun manufacturers liable for crimes committed with their products.
The measure, introduced in both the House and Senate, seeks to repeal legislation passed in 2005 that enacted litigation protections for the gun industry, National Public Radio reported.
Responsible actors in the gun industry don’t need this limitation on liability. And the irresponsible ones don’t deserve it,” California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, one of the bill’s co-sponsors, said at a press conference Tuesday.
Victims of gun violence deserve their day in court.

All we’re doing through this proposal is giving victims of gun violence their day in court,” said Connecticut Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal, co-sponsor of the bill’s Senate version.

He’s trying to deflect from his horrible ratings and those of his entire network. Hundreds have been let go and more will soon follow. Will he be one of them?

Irate Dems Hate Trump’s Plans for July 4 at the Lincoln Memorial
They hate anything he does. Who is there better to lead the nation’s celebration of its birth than the president?
As the article pointed out, the best thing is that Shrillary won’t be making an address from the Lincoln Memorial.
Here are some of the whiners:
Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) (shown above right): “President Trump’s efforts to insert politics into a celebration of our nation’s history is extremely alarming. Forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for what amounts to a political rally is irresponsible and a misuse of funds. I strongly urge the president to reconsider his proposed event.”
Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.): “In addition to drawing the administration’s attention to the cost, resource impacts and logistical headaches this will cause, we are respectfully asking the president to make himself part of this great celebration rather than attempting to make this great celebration about him.”
Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.): “The Fourth of July celebration is not about any one person; it is not a time for campaigning — but a time to celebrate our unity as a free nation” (source: Fox News)

Elderly Suffer From Reverse Mortgage Scams
We are inundated with the ads, some by well-respected stars such as Tom Selleck and Alex Trebek. Who are we to believe?
These elderly homeowners were convinced to borrow money through the program while the risks and requirements were glossed over. When they missed a paperwork deadline or fell behind on taxes or insurance, lenders moved swiftly to foreclose on the home, which wiped out hard-earned generational wealth.
Especially hard hit were lower-income, black neighborhoods, which were targeted by the unscrupulous lenders. Siome 100,000 loans have failed.
USA Today, in a first-of-its-kind analysis of more than 1.3 million loan records, discovered that reverse mortgages end in foreclosure six times more often in predominantly black neighborhoods than in those that are 80 percent white.
And here’s the kicker:
It is not only those scammed who are hurting, as the public also pays a steep price. Reverse mortgages are insured by a Federal Housing Administration fund, which is in the red more than $13.6 billion because of an increase in claims paid out to reverse mortgage lenders since the recession.

The 10 Cities People are Moving to the Most
Thank God Las Vegas isn’t on that list. We’ve already got too many Leftist migrants from Mexifornia.
So which cities are gaining the most population? Each year U.S. News conducts a survey to determine exactly that, and their latest information is based on data reflecting net migration habits from 2013 to 2017.
10. Charleston, South Carolina
9. Melbourne, Florida
8. Orlando, Florida
7. Lakeland, Fla
6. Austin, Texas
5. Port St. Lucie, Florida
4. Daytona Beach, Florida
3. Sarasota, Florida
2. Fort Myers, Florida
1. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Trump: Nothing wrong with accepting dirt from foreign governments on opponents
Oh boy is this going to start a firestorm.
Trump compared damaging information on an opponent supplied by a foreign government to opposition research conducted by all political campaigns.
It’s not an interference, they have information – I think I’d take it,” Trump said. “If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI – if I thought there was something wrong.”
You can bet they’ll ignore the notifying the FBI part.

Pebble Beach aims to keep harmful golf balls out of ocean
How often have you hit one into the briny? When even the best of the pros do it, one can easily estimate how many the duffers send into the ocean.
The extent of the environmental problem was first identified three years ago by teenager Alex Weber after she came across something she had never seen before while diving in California — a white sea floor.
It was just blanketed in this mess of golf balls,” she told Reuters this week. “Seeing the vast scale of pollution from such an identifiable source made me wonder why no one was doing anything about it.”
So Weber took matters into her own hands, first by picking up the balls and then connecting with a researcher at Stanford University who suggested they collaborate on a scientific research paper.
She’s already collected 50k but estimates there are still a million in the cove.

Watchdog Exposes $15.3 Billion in Congressional Waste
They can’t keep their fingers out of the money pies. Ear marks and pork barrel spending was supposed to stop.
Sure.
It’s a very long report but well-worth reading. Some of it will surprise, others disgust.

British Home Secretary signs extradition order to send Julian Assange to US
The Swedes don’t want him. So, the USA has him up for violating the Espionage Act.
The publishing of the Iraq War footage showing a US Apache helicopter shooting dead 12 people, including two Reuters staff, is one of the most significant and talked-about exposures made by his WikiLeaks organization.
Just one week before Hillary Clinton became the Democratic Party’s nominee for president in 2016, WikiLeaks released thousands of emails showing that top party figures had collaborated to ensure that Senator Bernie Sanders did not win the nomination. The leaks forced DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to resign.

Boom! US Attorney Durham Is Interviewing CIA Operatives On Trump Spying…
Better Lawyer Up John Brennan!
The Bill Barr Justice Department plans on interviewing senior CIA officials as part of its expanding investigation into the Obama Deep State spying on the Trump campaign in the 2016 election, according to a new report at The New York Times.
CIA Director Gina Haspel has told senior officials that while the CIA plans to cooperate, it will protect information that could place sources or collection methods at risk.
According to the Trump-hating NY Times, intel officials have been informed that Attorney General William Barr has assigned the United States attorney in Connecticut, John Durham, to seek the interviews.
Seems AG Barr and his senior investigator aren’t fooling around.
Barr is also still trying to piece together why Obama administration believe Putin ordered Russian operatives to aid President Trump in 2016.
Sean Hannity added that the Department of Justice is also seeking cooperation from foreign intelligence agencies including Italy, the UK and Australia who were used by the Obama deep state to help spy on Trump campaign officials.

Happy Birthday US Army
244 years June 14.
An example of the Army’s Can Do attitude:
On Oct. 21, at long last word finally came that everybody was being pulled out, there was going to be no agreement, and nearly every single person and thing not nailed down needed to be removed.
The Army responded like it always does—with its legendary can-do attitude. Convoys driven by young American men and women drove 24-7 to get the equipment out. Truck drivers, fork lift operators, cooks, grunts, and others all worked around the clock together to get the job done.
Culminating one of the biggest logistical operations in decades, on Dec. 18, 2011, two weeks ahead of schedule, the last convoy left Iraq, with all troops and equipment all safely accounted for.
Common soldiers always seem to find ways around obstacles, big or small. They may be ruled by rules and regulations but that never stops initiative and inventiveness.

One Trump appointee restrains an out-of-control agency
Who’s ever heard of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau?
Since its creation in the Dodd-Frank Act of 2010, the agency has done little more than become the poster child for bureaucratic excess. In 2011, the bureau employed 58 people. By 2017, that number had grown to nearly 1,700.
It’s no wonder that in its almost eight years of existence the bureau managed to rack up more than $3.1 billion in regulatory costs from only 31 regulations.
What’s more, the bureau is the only government agency that doesn’t receive its funding appropriations from Congress and, instead, receives a fixed percentage of the Federal Reserve’s annual budget. This alone has made many, including Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, call its constitutional existence into question.
Who in the hell dreams up these things? Don’t they do any consideration of what might happen after the damn thing go into effect. Don’t we give Congresspeople massive amount of money to hire staff and get feedback from agencies that might be affected?

US Office of Special Counsel Recommends Kellyanne Conway Be Removed From Office For Hatch Act Violations
The U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) calls on President Donald J. Trump to remove Ms. Conway from her federal position immediately,” the agency wrote in a letter to the White House. “[K]ellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act on numerous occasions by disparaging Democratic presidential candidates while speaking in her official capacity during television interviews and on social media,” the letter stated.
The OSC cited two separate television interviews in which Kellyanne Conway advocated for and against candidates in the 2017 Alabama special election for US Senate.
It has 122 employees as of 2014 and a budget of $20.6 million.
Where in the hell were they during the Obama administration?
More Deep State types trying to take down the president by going after his close advisors?

AMAZING! Liberal Governor Grisham Who Mocked Trump, Declared ‘No Crisis’ at Southern Border
Now Attacks Trump for ‘Crisis’ at Southern Border
Remember. She’s the one who pulled her National Guard troops from the border because they weren’t needed there.
I wonder what happened.
The Trump administration has failed in its response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis at our southern border and abandoned the federal “safe release” policy, indiscriminately releasing migrants in communities in the state’s borderland area. So my office is suing.
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (@GovMLG) June 10, 2019
Suing? What for?

Soros’ money takes Virginia elections
In Arlington and Fairfax counties for local prosecutors.
The money gave Tafti and Descano a significant financial advantage over the incumbents, despite their lack of experience. The Washington Post reported that while the two challengers have never prosecuted a case in a state court, they beat candidates with more than 60 years of experience between them.
Got that? He pours endless money to get two guys elected who’ve never tries a case in court.
Why?
Because they go along with Governor McAuliffe’s push to restore voting rights of convicted felons with they serve their time.
The Washington Free Beacon notes that Soros has funded attorney and prosecutor candidates in states including California, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Texas, and New Mexico. His preferred candidates have for the most part won their races.
And dummies are going along with this Open Borders slug. They’re letting him buy seats in the legal system. I have no idea what he’s after by doing this.

Trump Using 'Former Japanese Internment Camp' For Immigrants;
And I’ll bet you anything, they won’t know what these are for or how to use them
The Washington Post likewise stresses the internment camp reference, but at least hints that another administration might have done something similar: "Geronimo and the Japanese were imprisoned there. Now Fort Sill will hold migrant children — again." Here's how the Post's coverage begins:
Record numbers of unaccompanied children from Central America have crossed the border in recent months. So many that the Office of Refugee Resettlement has been scrambling to find housing for them.
On Tuesday, the agency announced it has chosen a military base as a temporary shelter: Fort Sill in Oklahoma, which was used during World War II as an internment camp for Japanese Americans and Japanese immigrants. Before that, it was the longtime prison for Apache leader Geronimo.
Here's How They Reported It When Obama Did Same Thing
But as many have pointed out, for those willing to take the step to read a little further than the headlines, an uncomfortable fact emerges: The Obama administration used the same "former Japanese internment camp" to house immigrants in 2014. The Post report acknowledges this fact in its fourth paragraph:
This isn’t the first time that Fort Sill has been used this way, though. During the Obama presidency, unaccompanied children were housed there for four months. At the time, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin (R) blamed Obama’s “failed immigration policies," saying, “It is alarming to have 1,200 children in a military Installation.”

Who’s gonna replace Sara Sanders?
A “stone cold killer” and Melania’s Director of Communications seems to be leading the field. You can bet the president will listen in FLOTUS wants her to have the job.
But she’s been with the Trumps for a long time. Grisham started as a press aide for Trump’s presidential campaign in 2015, making her one of the few original campaign staffers still in the White House. When Trump was elected, Grisham joined the press office as a deputy to then-press secretary Sean Spicer.
In March 2017, Melania brought her over to the East Wing, where she served as communications director. Eventually Grisham was promoted into her current role.
Prior to joining Trump’s presidential campaign, Grisham had worked on Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign and before that had run her own small public relations firm.
Grisham has demonstrated her loyalty to the family and has spent increasingly more time in recent months at Trump events—even when Melania is not in attendance. An unnamed White House official told CNN that Melania would support Grisham’s departure, and that Grisham would not leave without the first lady’s consent.

Tennessee Volkswagen workers reject unionization
This isn’t the first time. I remember reading reports on similar votes at other sites in which union reps then went to judges to try to get the votes set aside.
Workers at Volkswagen's United States plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, have voted 833 to 776 against forming a factory-wide union, according to preliminary results shared by Volkswagen on Friday.
The vote among hourly workers began on Wednesday and finished on Friday. The German carmaker said about 93% of the roughly 1,700 workers voted. The National Labor Relations Board, the US regulatory body running the election, has yet to confirm the vote results.
Yeah, the NLRB. Doesn’t answer to anybody and appears to be full of Obama appointees. You can bet this will end up in the courts.

What the Mueller report didn’t say
For the second time in less than two weeks, it has been revealed that Mueller’s final report contains a massive lie used to smear President Donald Trump.
According to an explosive piece from The Hill’s John Solomon, buried deep in the Mueller report is a section that asserts that Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Kilimnik, who worked for Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, is tied to Russian intelligence.
However, upon further digging, it was revealed that Kilimnik is actually linked straight to former President Barack Obama’s administration.
But, that’s not all.
The Horn News reported last week that another bombshell inside Mueller’s report was discovered by conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh claimed that the special counsel’s team went out of their way – perhaps illegally – to portray the president as guilty.

Trump administration to stop supporting experiments using aborted baby parts
That should put a crimp in the baby parts factories disguised as abortion clinics.
Promoting the dignity of human life from conception to natural death is one of the very top priorities of President Trump’s administration,” a statement from HHS read. National Institutes of Health (NIH) research “that requires new acquisition of fetal tissue from elective abortions will not be conducted.”

President Trump Aims to Slash Number of Federal Advisory Committees
An awesome move! More campaign promises kept.
Trump signed an executive order Friday that directs every federal agency to evaluate the need for all of its advisory committees created under the Federal Advisory Committee Act. And it gives agency heads until September to terminate at least one-third of current committees created by agency heads.
Federal advisory committees are typically made up of private citizens who offer advice and assistance to the executive branch.
The White House did not immediately provide any justification for the order. But it appears to assume that many of the committees are redundant or have been convened to address issues that are now obsolete. It says that committees will be eliminated if their “stated objectives” have been accomplished, if the “subject matter or work of the committee has become obsolete,” if their “primary functions have been assumed by another entity” and if the agency determines “the cost of operation is excessive in relation to the benefits to the Federal Government.”
snip
The U.S. General Services Administration, which helps oversee FACA implementation, says there are approximately 1,000 federal advisory committees and 50 federal agencies with FACA programs in effect at any given time. The order seeks to cap the total number of committees at 350, and will bar agencies from establishing new committees without waivers until the number drops.
