Where to report being censored on social media, Cow trouble in Austria, Grump Cat Dies, Trump filled federal court seats, Video game addiction an official disease, and more for May 20, 2019

Where to report being censored on Social Media Platforms
I have no idea if anything will – or can – be done to stop it. In many ways, I don’t think anything SHOULD be done. They are all open to anyone and their success is a matter of marketplace desires. They remain because untold millions use them and I strongly feel the internet must be free of government interference.
SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS should advance FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Yet too many Americans have seen their accounts suspended, banned, or fraudulently reported for unclear “violations” of user policies,” the site, which can be seen here, states.
I made my report just because it was easy to do.

Cow Trouble in Austria
And Switzerland and Germany too.
Austria warns against cow-kissing internet challenge
The #KuhKussChallenge ("Cow Kiss Challenge") is being sent around in an effort to raise money for charity.
The problem?
Cows tend to be protective of their young and weird people wandering around trying to kiss them might cause problems – for the humans.
But Austrian Agriculture Minister Elisabeth Koestinger branded the challenge a "dangerous nuisance" in a statement on Thursday.
"Pastures and meadows are not petting zoos -- actions like these could have serious consequences," she added, pointing out that cows could become aggressive when defending their calves.
Ah well. There goes an idyllic stroll in the Alps down the tube.

President Trump Plans to Invoke Insurrection Act to Remove Illegal Aliens From United States
We’re doing the Insurrection Act,” one official said.
Under the Insurrection Act of 1807, the president has the authority to use the National Guard and military in order to combat “unlawful obstruction or rebellion” within U.S. borders. The act was last invoked in 1992 by George H.W. Bush to quell the Los Angeles riots, and was also used by Eisenhower in 1957 to enforce school desegregation in the south.
An official expressed concerns that Trump’s use of the act’s powers would face legal challenges, pointing to the lawsuits against the president’s travel ban from majority-Muslim countries. However, as the official noted, the travel ban ultimately prevailed in the Supreme Court.
In addition to the Insurrection Act, the president is also considering declaring the country full and insisting that the U.S. can no longer handle the massive influx of illegal immigrants. 2019 is currently on pace to reach the highest levels of illegal immigration in a decade.
Oh boy are the Lefties ever going to rise up and fight this tooth and nail in the courts. They’ll shop for liberal judges who will stay the action, preferably in a jurisdiction of the 9th Court of Appeals.
No doubt this will end up at SCOTUS.

American citizens in Austria told to seek consular help at McDonald's
Does one have to order a BigMac and fries to get the help?
Under a new partnership, outlets of the US fast food chain throughout Austria will help American citizens from Wednesday to get in touch with their embassy, it said on Facebook.
"Staff (at any McDonald's in Austria) will assist them in making contact with the US Embassy for consular services," the embassy wrote
Consular services include reporting a lost or stolen passport or seeking travel assistance, the post said.
Facebook users commenting on the post wasted no time in coining terms such as "McVisa" and "McPassport".

Feds going after Jihadi-Rep Ilhan Omar for immigration fraud
She and her corhorts will scream that it’s all an attempt by Jews behind the president seeking revenge for her comments about Israel and Palestine.
A federal lawsuit seeks an investigation whether Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has violated U.S. Immigration laws: allegations of fraud in her application for refugee status; in her marriage to a purported brother; and her support of terrorist organizations. After due process and if convicted in a criminal proceeding, Ilhan Omar at minimum could be deported from the United States.
There’s been a long series of stories reporting her alleged fraud so it’s no surprise that action should be taken to check her out.
I can imagine the furor of a sitting member of Congress being put on an airplane and flown back to the land of her birth.

The Drunkest Country in the world is…
The UK!
Hmmmm. How is that possible when it has such a large Muslim population now?
It’s a big world and there’s a lot of drinking going on, but the citizen’s of one country are getting drunk more than the citizens of any other country. The winner (?) of this dubious distinction is the United Kingdom.
British people are getting drunk more often than any other nation in the world, and not just tipsy but completely intoxicated. This is according to the 2019 Global Drug Survey published Thursday which analyzed the behavior of 123,814 people from 36 countries.
On average, respondents said they got drunk 33 times in the last 12 months with drinkers from the UK reporting being drunk 51 times in last year. The U.S. was not far behind, with respondents claiming to have been intoxicated 50 times in the last year, followed by Canada's drinkers who overindulged 48 times in the last year and Australia's respondents who got drunk 47 times.
Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the spectrum, people in Chile reported getting drunk just 16 times a year while in Germany and Colombia respondents indulged 33 times in the last year.

Bring it on’ – Philippines’ drug war commander invites probes into killings
Duterte and his people aren’t fooling around. The main reason for going after the drug sales is that the money is being used to support Muslim separatists.
Ronald dela Rosa, President Rodrigo Duterte’s top lieutenant in a crackdown that alarmed the international community, shrugged off calls for him to be investigated for what human rights groups say were systematic police cover-ups, falsified reports and summary executions.
The former national police chief, nicknamed “Bato” (rock), was endorsed by Duterte in a May 13 election in which he is all but certain to win a seat in the powerful Senate.
Bring it on, bring it on. Whatever they want, I will not run away,” dela Rosa told news channel ANC when asked about a possible probe, including by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague.
Whatever, whatever, whenever,” he added.
Duterte’s allies swept the midterm polls in what was seen as a ringing public endorsement of the president’s controversial rule and the war on drugs that has defined it.

Trump fills federal court seats to chagrin of liberals
More diversity. The Left can’t claim the president is doing nothing but appointing white males. Lee was born in South Korea and is a registered Republican. Yet another conservative on the notorious 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Lee was re-nominated in January of this year.
The controversy surrounding Trump nominations to fill federal court vacancies has remained somewhat low key in comparison to the continuing efforts by House Democrats to distract public attention and the administration with repeated questions about the report on Russian election interference from special counsel Robert Mueller. But if the president is able to keep nominating conservative judges to the federal bench, whose appointments are for life, it could be good news for American gun owners on Second Amendment issues, and conservatives in general on other topics. They have long contended that the real “activism” on the federal courts has been practiced by liberal judges trying to legislate from the bench.

Kingdom 'saved' as Tower of London welcomes first raven chicks in 30 years
Ugly birds. But have always been cited as omens in just about every human civilization. Crows are often considered jokers but Ravens are serious – and very serious thieves. They love shiny things and there nests always contain stuff many humans thought they “lost.”
The four new arrivals began hatching on St George's Day following the arrival of breeding pair Huginn and Muninn at the end of last year.
The Tower usually has six ravens at any time and, according to legend, if they ever leave both the fortress and the kingdom will fall.
Ravenmaster Yeoman Warder Chris Skaife said he felt "like a proud father".

500,000 workers with bogus Social Security numbers
It’s relatively easy to get a fake SS card. Just about anywhere starting at around $25/ (I know firsthand as I’ve seen it done.)
Since March, the Social Security Administration has mailed out “no-match letters” to more than 570,000 employers, telling them of the mismatched information on their employers.
The notices do not necessarily require employers to take action, but direct them to take steps to reconcile mismatches, which would require contacting the workers. Undocumented workers who are notified of the letters by their employers often choose to quickly resign, fearing scrutiny from federal immigration authorities. But employers who do nothing could also face enforcement actions,” the New York Times reports.
The only way to really get a handle is to start going after employers who don’t use e-verify or openly hire illegals.

Men at Work
Far too big to copy and paste but has some amazing statistics.
A lot of clerks at 2% to 15%.
The highest percentages?
Bus, truck and stationary engine mechanic = 99%
Roofers and Slaters = 99%
Drillers of oil wells = 99.2%
Concrete and cement workers = 99.3%
Drillers of earth = 99.6%
Boilermakers = 99.8%
Seems to show relationship between academic and manual skills.

Amazing Uses for Things in Your Home

DNA tests reveal 30% of suspected fraudulent migrant families were unrelated
This shouldn’t surprise anyone. TV stations in Central America are telling people how they can get into the USA by claiming to have their children with them. So, does that mean that people in those countries are selling or renting their kids out to those headed north?
Some of the migrant families arrested at the southern border weren’t actually families.
In a pilot program, approximately 30% of rapid DNA tests of immigrant adults who were suspected of arriving at the southern border with children who weren’t theirs revealed the adults were not related to the children, an official involved in the system’s temporary rollout who asked to be anonymous in order to speak freely told the Washington Examiner Friday.
There’s been some concern about, ‘Are they stepfathers or adopted fathers?'” the official said. “Those were not the case. In these cases, they are misrepresented as family members.”

It’s Genetic if you own a dog.
Another one of those egghead research studies – probably funded by government money – in Sweden has determined it’s a foregone conclusion that you’ll own a pooch if it’s in your genes.
Being a dog-lover is not a choice, it is in your DNA.
This finding from a team of researchers in Sweden and England sheds some light on how man's best friend came to be and found being a dog owner is may be genetic.
A study of twins found that getting a dog is influenced by an individual's genes and may even be inherited.
It is impossible to say which genes are involved from the study but identical twins agreed far more than non-identical pairs on whether they would have a pet pooch.
Well, it’s sure true for me. My first memories are of a Cocker Spaniel and her two pupps hanging around the bassinet I laid in. I clearly remember the delight of their slurpy tongues. And no morning goes by today without my little Pixie nestled on my arm grooming my hand.

Electric field-based dressing helps heal wound infections
I’d never head of biofilms before I got a couple of compression wounds on my butt. I’ve also learned they’re not easy to remove. I also learned about something called Hyperbaric treatment to speed up healing wounds.
Bacterial biofilms are thin, slimy films of bacteria that form on some wounds, including burns or post-surgical infections, as well as after a medical device, such as a catheter, is placed in the body. These bacteria generate their own electricity, using their own electric fields to communicate and form the biofilm, which makes them more hostile and difficult to treat. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates 65 percent of all infections are caused by bacteria with this biofilm phenotype, while the National Institutes of Health estimates that number is closer to 80 percent.
Another medical breakthrough that just might help ease a lot of pain for a lot of people.

Video game addiction to be recognized as official disease?
I wonder if the same thing could be said for people who never get their faces our of their cell phones or similar devices.
Video game addiction could soon become an official disease as the World Health Organisation is set to put the issue to a vote next week.
The vote comes as a growing body of evidence points to young gamers facing psychological distress as a result of addictive behaviour in relation to video games such as Fortnite.
MRI scans have pointed to links between depression and video game addiction, as well as the way addictive video games can have a similar effect on children’s brains as drug abuse or alcoholism.
Last year, the WHO made the decision to class video gaming as a medical disorder as part of the 11th revision of the International Classification of Diseases.

59% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck
And payday loan scams are thriving.
Overall, 59 percent of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, according to the survey of 1,000 U.S. adults by Charles Schwab.
However, the Millennial generation (people ages 23-38) was the most likely to struggle in between payday, at 62 percent, followed by Generation X (60 percent), Generation Z (55 percent) and Baby Boomers (53 percent).
The article makes it sound as if government is to blame.
The truth is simple. A huge number are paying off student loans or having massive debts in other areas. Instead of buying perfectly good items in places like the Salvation Army or Deseret Industries, they go to high-end stores to buy new.
How much of your paycheck is already taken up before you even receive it?

FBI Raids Muzzie Terrorist Training Camp in Alabama
This is just one of many all across the country. Are we going to see more raids in the near future?
FBI Assistant Director for the Counterterrorism Division Michael McGarrity told lawmakers on Capitol Hill there are 850 open domestic terrorism investigations, with 40% racially motivated violent extremism.
850!!!!!

The AFL-CIO Goes Full Communist
Why should this surprise anyone? It’s simply a matter of coming out.
The AFL-CIO released a video on Twitter on Tuesday which embraced communism and called on workers to seize the means of production. The video by Dan Whelan, who self-identifies as a Marxist roofer, said that the middle class is a fiction.
Whelan says there are only two classes, those who own the “means of production” and the working class. Those who own the “means of production” are those who own something that produces money and requires workers. The rest are the working class who sell their labor for the wages in order to live.
Whelan says that the concept of the middle class is a fiction used by the rich and the media. He says that it is used to drive a wedge between various sectors of the working class to keep them from uniting.
