Whoa! What the hell are we doing to our country when we turn over the most important land we have to foreign entities?
All across America, U.S. farmland is being gobbled up by foreign interests. So when we refer to “the heartland of America”, the truth is that vast stretches of that “heartland” is now owned by foreigners, and most Americans have no idea that this is happening. These days, a lot of people are warning about the “globalization” of the world economy, but in reality our own soil is rapidly being “globalized”. When farms are locally owned, the revenue that those farms take in tends to stay in local communities. But with foreign-owned farms there is no guarantee that will happen. And while there is plenty of food to go around this is not a major concern, but what happens when a food crisis erupts and these foreign-owned farms just keep sending their produce out of the country? There are some very serious national security concerns here, and they really aren’t being addressed. Instead, the amount of farmland owned by foreigners just continues to increase with each passing year.
And China is the biggest owner.
Farm bankruptcies are already at the highest level that we have seen since the last recession, and do we really want foreigners gobbling up even more of our farmland from farmers that are incredibly desperate to sell?
Our founders never intended for America to be for sale to the highest bidder, and hopefully more states will start passing laws that will make sure that U.S. farms stay in the hands of U.S. farmers.

Purdue Pharmaceuticals Manipulated Opioid Policies Internationally
This is really strange. I just got through watching the season finale of NCIS which was all about a young girl getting hooked on opioids. And almost dying from bad stuff coming over the border from Canada.
It’s not easy to succumb to the relief from pain they provide. I know first hand. I have some in my medicine cabinet and struggle every day to use Tylenol instead. It’s doesn’t provide the same relief, but I keeps me from being an addict.

Arstechnica) OxyContin-maker Purdue Pharma used front organizations and sponsored research to deceive the World Health Organization and corrupt global public health policies with the goal of boosting international opioid sales and profits, according to a Congressional report(PDF) released Thursday, May 22.
The investigation identified two WHO guidance documents that appear to parrot some of Purdue’s misleading and outright false marketing claims about the safety and efficacy of their highly addictive opioids.
The findings, released by Reps. Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) and Hal Rogers (R-Ky.), land as the country is still grappling with an epidemic of opioid abuse and overdoses. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, opioid overdoses kill an average of 130 Americans every day.

Brazilian company buys Avon
Does that mean the Avon Lady won’t be knocking at your door any time soon?
And who knew that Avon was based in London?
The transaction values Avon at an enterprise value of 3.7 billion dollars and the combined group would have an enterprise value of approximately 11 billion dollars, according to the statement.
The merged company will have more than 6.3 million consultants and representatives, as well as 3,200 stores, with a presence in 100 countries, Natura said.
The purchase of 133-year-old Avon will thus expand the global reach of Natura, which is best known in Latin America. The Brazilian giant acquired the Body Shop in 2017.
Founded in the United States, Avon was a pioneer of the door-to-door cosmetics sales model, but has struggled recently.
Shareholders of both companies still need to approve the deal.

Utah Judge suspended without pay for 6 months because he trashed President Trump
It was okay for Justice Ginsberg to spout off. But, this guy made enough comments about the president that the Utah Supreme Court put him in the dugout for six months.
Kwan, who has served as a justice court judge in Taylorsville for 20 years, was cited for “improper use of judicial authority and his inappropriate political commentary,” the latter often involving President Trump.
We can only hope it will happen to other judges across the country who’re unable to maintain their impartiality.
Electoral Fraud in Venezuela Kept Maduro in Power
Carlos Quintero, was the second in command at Venezuela’s electoral headquarter, the National Electoral Council (CNE). “A call from Cilia or Diosdado would be enough to alter the results at our convenience,” he allegedly said in 2017 to Carvajal.
Carvajal, who is currently imprisoned in Spain on drug trafficking charges, addressed the letter to the National Assembly of Venezuela and the international community, accusing Carlos Quintero Cuevas, as one of the main architects of electoral theft.
Quintero was an associate of Carvajal in the Directorate of Military Intelligence where he worked as head of Computing at the Communications Directorate; later he was sent to the National Electoral Council (CNE) to perpetrate the biggest electoral fraud in the history of Venezuela.

Private Donations Building Border Wall
They got more than $20 million in donations on GoFundMe and are building the wall on private property. The actual construction is being kept under wraps because some “powerful people “want to stop our progress, so to not tip anyone off we are radio silent!"
We Build the Wall, a group founded by a triple amputee Air Force veteran, said in a series of social media posts on Monday that it had started construction on private property in New Mexico. The announcement comes months after the group began its GoFundMe campaign to raise private donations for a border wall, and days after a federal judge blocked President Donald Trump from tapping into billions in Defense Department funds for his administration's wall construction efforts.

Media Pushes Back Against Poll that Found Nation is Getting Less Racist Under Trump
A Rasmussen poll in 2016 found 60 percent of Americans thought race relations had gotten worse since Obama took office.
But a study by a political science professor at the University of Pennsylvania found “anti-black prejudice took a sharp dive that was statistically significant,” there was “also a general fall in anti-Hispanic prejudice” and “the decline was as evident among Republican voters as it was among Democrats.”
Of course the media can’t accept this.
“Racial prejudice has declined as a reaction to Trump’s presidency,” a new study suggests,” reads the headline on Isaac Stanley-Becker’s piece Friday in the Post.
“Donald Trump began his campaign for the presidency by branding Mexicans as ‘rapists,’” wrote Stanley-Becker in his lead. “He initially declined to denounce David Duke, the former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. One week after his 2017 inauguration, the president temporarily banned people from seven mostly Muslim countries from entering the United States. That summer, he said there were ‘very fine people’ among torch-wielding white supremacists who descended on Charlottesville.”
Take words out of context. Ignore economic and political facts. Show their Anti-Trump bias at every turn. No wonder they’re in deep financial woes.
How I Knew Trump Would Win in 2016 and Will Win Again
Is this hindsight or did this guy really know? He makes an interesting case for his claim.
First off, his pedigree. He’s a Professor Emeritus at the University of Virginia with an impressive résumé. He says:
Trump received a rich boy’s education, first at a traditional (probably English-Anglican) prep school and then military school. I know these institutions and the kind of classical education and sense of order they breed. They are, since Ancient Greece, the schools that train rulers. I recall during the campaign hearing Trump describing a New Hampshire village suffering from widespread heroin addiction as “bucolic.” I’m not sure I had heard that quaint term used by Shakespeare professors, much less a politician!
He goes on to explain how Trump drew people of all ages, races, and economic status to support him.

In an interview with conservative news portal 888.hu on Monday, foreign minister Péter Szijjártó commented that the “record high support” seen for Fidesz at the polls will “strengthen the government in its task of preserving Hungary as a Hungarian country and the EU as a union of Europeans”.
