Only Two House Democrats Show Up for Impeach Trump Rally
Why am I not surprised as to who they were. Two of the biggest flakes ever.
Reps. Al Green (D-TX) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) were the only two Democrats to attend and speak at the event.
They were joined by a host of leftwing organizations, including CREDO, George Soros-funded MoveOn.org, the Woman’s March — including pro-Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour — and Free Speech for People.
Nowhere does it say how many people showed.

Officers with Bronze Star license plates least likely to have left FOB
WASHINGTON – A study released today found that officers who purchased non-valor Bronze Star license plates for their vehicles were 98% less likely to have left a forward operating base, or FOB, during a deployment than officers who did not purchase the plates.
The Pentagon spent two months and roughly $17 billion on the study, which was originally intended to determine why some officers were colossal douchebags while others were only slightly less so. A clear pattern emerged, according to the study’s researchers.
Okay, so it’s parody. This is one of my favorite sites for a good morning laugh. As an ex-personnel sergeant, I can tell you there is a huge amount of truth in this. During ‘Nam, officers were awarded non-valor Bronze Star Medals like enlisted personnel got Good Conduct Medals.

The White House Is Revoking Press Passes En Masse
They whine about not having a formal press conference n 58 days when the president stops and talks to the mob every time he leaves the White House. Some of the press corps have desks and small offices in the West Wing, although I am unable to find out just who they are.
Whatever it is, the “uproar” from the pampered little babies is to be expected.
The White House imposed new rules on reporters’ press access that some journalists say may disqualify “almost the entire White House press corps.”
The White House press office implemented a new policy this week that aims at cutting down the number of journalists who can have a “hard pass,” a two-year press pass that allows reporters entry to the White House grounds, The Washington Post reported. Under the new rules, only journalists who have entered the White House grounds at least 90 days of the last 180 can renew their hard pass. Reporters who do not have a hard pass must apply for a new pass each time they need access. Temporary press passes are issued on a daily, weekly and six-month basis
So, who the hell is he?

US now using “The Flying Ginsu” missile for surgical strikes.
Instead of exploding like a Hellfire, it hits with such force that it does a real job at impact. And, if that isn’t enough, it carries six long blades that shred anything in its path. Seems they’ve already used it.
The missile, which can tear through cars and buildings, is also called "The Ninja Bomb."
The US military has used the weapon only a few times, officials told The Journal, revealing that this missile has been used in operations in Libya, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, and Yemen. For example, the RX9 was used in January to kill Jamal al-Badawi, who was accused of masterminding the US Cole bombing in 2000.

46% Of Americans Have Taken A Pharmaceutical Drug Within The Last 30 Days
And I’m one of them. With so many pills, tablets, capsules, and injections I can’t even being to count them.
If it seems like about half the country is on drugs, that is because it is actually true.
According to a new survey from the National Center for Health Statistics, almost half of all Americans have taken a pharmaceutical drug within the past 30 days, and that officially makes us “the most medicated country in the world”.  And needless to say, those dealing these drugs are becoming exceedingly wealthy at our expense.  The average American spends $1,200 a year on prescription drugs, but of course many Americans spend far more than that and others spend nothing at all.  In recent years there has been a tremendous backlash against the big pharmaceutical corporations, because many of them have become exceedingly greedy.  As you will see below, prices have been raised on 650 different drugs this year alone.  Once they get their claws into you, the pharmaceutical giants want to get every last penny out of you that they possibly can.

Plans are to keep it a biodiversity preserve.

New analysis predicts top U.S. counties at risk for measles outbreaks
Cook County, Illinois, tops the list, followed by Los Angeles County, California, and Miami-Dade County, Florida
And, according to the map linked to in the article, Clark County, Nevada, is one of them. Makes sense when you realize the millions who come here to enjoy the lure of Sin City.
"There has been a resurgence of measles cases, among other vaccine preventable diseases, in the U.S. and other countries in recent years. Measles, in particular, poses a serious public health threat due to the highly contagious nature of the disease. It is therefore critical that we proactively identify areas most likely to experience outbreaks to strategically target for surveillance and control," says Lauren Gardner, an associate professor in the Johns Hopkins Department of Civil Engineering and one of the study's corresponding authors.
Cook County, Illinois, tops the list, followed by Los Angeles County, California, Miami-Dade County, Florida, Queens, New York, and King County, Washington. The researchers have made available an interactive web tool that maps counties and codes them by risk:

This Park in Germany Has Designated 'Pink Zone' Areas for Drug Dealers
The Germans have totally lost it. Not only have they allowed Muslims to take over areas of their cities, they’re now pandering to junkies.
A park in Berlin has designated areas for drug dealers to do business.
The manager of Görlitzer Park in the Kreuzburg area of Berlin spray painted pink poxes on the ground to indicate areas where dealers will be allowed to operate, according to the Guardian.
Police have repeatedly made failed attempts to push the drug sellers out of the park, and implemented a zero tolerance policy for drug dealers, but it hasn’t worked. So the park manager took matters into his own hands, with the hopes of keeping dealers that might intimidate visitors away from the park entrance.

Trump has entered Phase 2 of his legal defense strategy: All-out war with Congress
One can expect a headline like this from “America’s Newspaper” with its ultra-left bias. However, the gist should raise the spirits of every American who support this president. It means that sitting back and doing nothing during the Mueller Farce is over.
We are seeing Phase 2 of Donald Trump’s legal strategy to defend himself against government investigations. It’s called, “We’re fighting all the subpoenas,” and it amounts to an all-out war with Congress.
The Mueller investigation turned out to be a fool’s errand from the start. As Barr has stated repeatedly, prosecutors make “binary” decisions: Charge or don’t charge. Except here’s the trick: When investigating a president, given DOJ policy, the only possible decision is don’t charge. In other words, heads I win, tails you lose. Cooperation is easy when you can’t be charged.
And, of course, USA Today is calling it “an escalating accumulation of obstruction.”

Bald Cypress in North Carolina believed to be 2,624 years old.
A recently documented stand of bald cypress trees in North Carolina, including one tree at least 2,624 years old, are the oldest known living trees in eastern North America and the oldest known wetland tree species in the world.
Nature can be awesome. A bristlecone pine at 5,000 years in the oldest living thing on earth.

Nearly 40% Of Graduating College Seniors Feel Unprepared For A Career
They get hyped all through high school of the great benefits of going to college. They’ll get rich, be rolling in dough.
And then they get there.
What a college student does with their career really does play an impact on their student loan debt,” he said. “They go to college and they graduate with the average of $30,000 in student loan debt and they can’t land a job, or a good-paying job, then they are going to be stuck with that student loan debt and it’s only going to get worse and it’s going to impact how they handle their life after graduation.”
Meanwhile, there are millions on hands-on craftsman jobs out there begging for applicants. Good jobs with benefits. And the benefit of seeing what your hands have created.

About 55,000 Kids Could Be Displaced Under New Trump Plan
Playing the Poor Little Children card again.
So what?
They are illegal! Their parents are illegal! They have no business drawing government benefits of any kind.
Period.
The current plan allows families of mixed-immigration status to live in federal housing as long as one person – a child born in the U.S. or a citizen spouse – lives there.
The new rule requires every member of the household to have “eligible immigration status,” according to the newspaper. The change is being pushed by White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller.
According to a HUD analysis cited by the Post, about 55,000 of those in mixed-status households are children. Most live in California, Texas and New York.
HUD expects that fear of the family being separated would lead to prompt evacuation by most mixed households,” the agency’s analysis said. “Temporary homelessness could arise for a household, if they are unable to find alternative housing.”

Turning raw sewage into fresh water the organic way
Almost too simple to be true.
Let plants and communities of microorganisms, bacteria, algae, fish and snails are working away to purify the community's raw sewage and "gray" water.
It’s being used all over the world. My question is; is it cost effective?

What happened in Central America?
Before I get to the article that brought this up, it’s worthwhile remembering that the entire area was part of the Spanish conquest. That for several centuries, no decisions about anything were made at the local level. The cost of a nail was determined by a fiat from the court in Madrid.
When Spain lost control, local governors or leading power brokers took over, quickly assuming dictatorial power.
Thus, we come to this:
When colonized countries ousted their Western overlords, progressives hoped the injustice within those countries would end. It didn’t. Local strongmen repurposed criminal justice systems to serve themselves. The abuse of state power turned out to be a human problem, not a colonial one. To this day, in many places, police have no idea how to investigate crimes. They’re trained to do what regimes want: crowd control, counterterrorism, and VIP security.
In other words, police don’t know how to uphold the laws because there aren’t any. At least not any laws that actually mean anything.
The only laws are what the local leaders say they are.
No wonder so many are fleeing there to come here.
And sadly, many of the gangsters are coming with them.
Initially, progressives thought they could drive out abuses by helping governments pass laws. But that didn’t work, because law, like food or medicine, requires an effective delivery system. Slavery has been outlawed everywhere. And yet, Haugen points out, millions of people around the world are still held in slavery.
You can’t just do good. You have to grapple with evil. “The World Bank now is doing these massive projects in countries where there’s no functioning justice system,” says Haugen. “They did a $400 million project, building a road that was going to have transformational effects in a part of Uganda that’s quite remote. What happens when you build a massive road? You send massive numbers of men to go build it. What do massive numbers of men do in an area where there’s no law enforcement? They sexually assault the women and children.” The crime wave resulting from that project became so horrific that the project had to be stopped.

Chicago police run a vehicle impound racket
Imagine dropping your car off at the local mechanic because you need to get your engine tuned up.
A few days later you come back to pick up your car, only to find out that it has been impounded by the police.
Say what you want about this individual event, it’s just an example of the entire racket by so-called upholders of truth and justice.
Chicago brings in about $28 million per year impounding cars and running up storage fees.
Got that? $28 MILLION!
