Okay, here’s your conspiracy theory for the day.
It all circulates around a shadowy group called The Institute for Policy Studies.
Really looks harmless when one clicks on it. But, Wiki and other sites have a different view of it.
Wiki: In his book The KGB and Soviet Disinformation: An Insider's View Ladislav Bittman, a former Státní bezpečnost[29] agent who worked in misinformation operations, claimed that the IPS was part of the Soviet intelligence network.[30][31] Bittman argued that IPS was one of the several liberal think tanks that acted as pro-Soviet propaganda agencies.[32]

The Heritage Foundation also says; The-Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) is an avowedly radical organization formed in 1963 by Richard J. Barnet and Marcus G. Raskin, both of whom had backgrounds of government employment. Barnet had worked for the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, while Raskin had worked for several members of Congress and for the National Security Council. Along with Barnet and Raskin, the most prominent IPS figure has probably been Resident IPS Fellow Arthur I. Waskow, who served at one time as a legislative assistant to Congressman Robert Kastenmeier of Wisconsin. All three have also been noticeably active in radical movements, , including the anti-Vi6tnam war-movement; Barnet traveled to Com- munist North Vietnam during the war, and both Barnet and Raskin were reported to have had contact with representatives of the Communist government of Hanoi in Paris during-the same period.
Why is all this important?
Some of the most important figures in the Democratic Party are tied to an anti-American, Soviet propaganda front — but chances are you’ve never heard of it from the mainstream media.

Their secret relationship came out of the shadows this week, after Democratic presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand signed onto a new racial wealth redistribution plan the group drew up.
Gillibrand threw her support behind a report on “Ten Solutions To Bridge the Racial Wealth Divide” written by the Institute for Policy Studies.
The plan calls for slavery reparations, giving money to every American baby at birth, guaranteeing everyone a job, and adopting Medicare to all. You’ve heard the same things from other top 2020 Democrats — and their far-Left plan isn’t as extreme as the group behind it.

President Trump is Fighting Back Against House Subpoenas
Good for him! If he lets the witch hunt go unanswered, he’s bowing to the radical left and their amazingly hatred-filled stooges.
Trump’s comments came as the White House made it clear that it plans to broadly defy requests for information from Capitol Hill, moving the two branches of government closer to a constitutional collision.
On Tuesday, two White House officials said the administration plans to fight a subpoena issued by the House Judiciary Committee for former White House counsel Donald McGahn by asserting executive privilege over his testimony.
Separately, the administration directed a former White House official not to comply with a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee, prompting the panel to move to hold him in contempt. And the Treasury Department defied a second demand from House Democrats to turn over six years of President Trump’s tax returns.

American soldiers at the border followed the rules
So Mexican soldiers took one of their pistols and put it in the Border Patrol vehicle they were driving.
As Newsweek reported it, one of the Mexican troops removed the sidearm carried by one of the Americans — and placed the weapon in the CBP vehicle.
U.S. Northern Command issued a statement, saying that “after a brief discussion between the soldiers from the two nations, the Mexican military members departed the area. The U.S. soldiers immediately contacted CBP, who responded quickly. Throughout the incident, the U.S. soldiers followed all established procedures and protocols.”
According to the Rules of Engagement, the US soldiers did exactly as they were told to do!

Just 33 percent of 14th district voters support her decision to drive out Amazon’s planned second headquarters from New York City. Only 41 percent of her constituents back her $93 trillion Green New Deal spending bill.
They come up with just one decent opponent and she’s packing her bags.

He’s excluded CAIR– the Council on American Islamic Relations, which was designated as a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates.
CAIR is about the most dangerous of all as it’s here in the USA and tries its best to hide its affiliation with many of the groups listed.

Report Clears Acting D-Sec. Shanahan of Ethics Violations
Damn! Another Trump administration official exonerated. What’s going on here?
Haven’t heard anything out of the Left demanding he step down and wonder how he’ll fare at Senate confirmation hearings?
Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan "fully complied with his ethics agreements and his ethical obligations," according to the Pentagon's watchdog review of potentially favoring Boeing, The Washington Post reported.
"While Shanahan did routinely refer to his prior industry experience in meetings, witnesses interpreted it, and told us, that he was doing it to describe his experience and to improve government management of DoD programs, rather than to promote Boeing or its products," the probe concluded, according to the Post.
The investigation exoneration of the former Boeing employee and acting defense secretary opens the door for President Donald Trump to officially nominate Shanahan as the official secretary of defense, replacing the resigned James Mattis.

Disaffected Venezuelan Military Tell of Rising Desertions to Brazil
Just how long can Maduro cling to power? Will China or Russia move troops in to prop him up?
Things are gonna get nasty before this is over.
Venezuelan military personnel are deserting to Colombia and Brazil in growing numbers, refusing to follow orders to repress protests against the government of President Nicolas Maduro, six of them told Reuters.
A lieutenant and five sergeants of the National Guard, the main force used by the Maduro government to suppress widespread demonstrations, said the bulk were going to Colombia, the most accessible border, but others like themselves had left for Brazil.
Colombian immigration authorities said some 1,400 Venezuelan military had deserted for Colombia this year, while the Brazilian Army said over 60 members of Venezuela's armed forces had emigrated to Brazil since Maduro closed the border on Feb. 23 to block an opposition effort to get humanitarian aid into the country.

Court Finds Marking Tires of Parked Cars Unconstitutional
Does this mean a whole lot of parking tickets are going to be overturned? And will municipalities have to pay back the fines?
This could be a disaster for some.
A federal appeals court has ruled a police practice of chalking tires to determine whether a vehicle overstays a given time limit on a parking space is unconstitutional, The New York Times is reporting.
The enforcement practice is in violation of the Fourth Amendment’s ban on unreasonable searches and seizures.
The Times reported it was unclear what will happen now as a result of the ruling by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. The court’s decision is binding in only the four states covered by the court – Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Meanwhile, the Downtown Development Authority in Bay City, Michigan announced that it will no longer order the chalking of car tires.

Trump’s timing is impeccable — he waited patiently until he had a real Attorney General to declassify the FISA docs.
Trump is right. If he declassified the docs while Rosenstein and Mueller were in charge of the Justice Department, they would have obstructed at every turn.

Senator Warren introduces military housing bill to boost inspections, transparency
Good Lord above! Every once in a blue moon, the Lefty Dims actually come up with something that not only makes sense but serve a good purpose.
This is definitely one of them.
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Senator Elizabeth Warren will introduce a bill Friday that offers new protections for U.S. military families facing unsafe housing, following a series of Reuters reports revealing squalid conditions in privately managed base homes.
The Reuters reports and later Congressional hearings detailed widespread hazards including lead paint exposure, vermin infestations, collapsing ceilings, mold and maintenance lapses in privatized base housing communities that serve some 700,000 U.S. military family members.

I’ve been reading lots of stories about the abhorrent condition of housing for service members of all branches and in places here at home and overseas.
This is something GOP members from both houses must get behind.

I saw clips of de Blasio bragging about how good the dogs were at Coney Island. What suddenly changed his mind?
New York City’s new law will ban hot dogs to help with climate change.
Mayor Bill de Blasio just signed into law New York City’s version of the “Green New Deal.”
Part of the law requires New York City officials to teach New Yorkers how to make healthy, environmentally conscious food choices by banning “problematic” items such as hot dogs from city menus.
The NYC Green New Deal “will cut purchases of red meat by 50 percent in its city-controlled facilities such as hospitals, schools, and correctional facilities.”
The Green New Deal also looks to make New York City “car-free” by 2050.
