Seems the days of space shuttles are over. At least we seem to be reaching the point where we no longer need to rely on Russia to get our people to the International Space Station. Civilian companies seem to be coming up with boosters that NASA no longer has the capability of producing.
United Launch Alliance is involved in NASA’s Commercial Crew program that will take American astronauts into space on missions launched from U.S. soil. Since the retirement of the space shuttle in 2011, the U.S. has been relying on Russian Soyuz rockets, launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, to get astronauts to the International Space Station.

I’ve never heard of Christensen Farms but it appears to be the largest pork producer in the country. San Francisco has not had a Republican mayor since 1964, the height of Motown music in one of the other cities we are discussing. For the past fifty-plus years, San Francisco has been led by a procession of Democrats.
Chicago's last Republican mayor finished his term in 1931, almost a century ago, followed by a string of Democrat mayors up to the present time. At a national level, Chicago is currently represented by Democrat senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth.
Detroit's last Republican mayor finished his term in 1962, around the time the Supremes were singing "Where Did Our Love Go?" Now they would be singing, "Where did our city go?" Since the early 1960s, Detroit has had a succession of Democrat mayors, including Coleman Young and their famous hip-hop mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, now serving a long prison term. Michigan, similar to Illinois and California, has two Democrat U.S. senators.
How the Press Lies about Itself
This opening paragraph tells it like it is and I couldn’t have phrased it better!
Ever notice how the press smushes stuff together? If you say something about illegal immigration, like how you don't want it, the media say you're against immigration in general, which is to say "brown people," which is to say, aha, you have been exposed for what you are: a racist, a bad person, probably a Republican, and quite possibly a World Wrestling Entertainment habitué. All this for pointing out something no more complicated than that when you decide to have laws, they ought to be obeyed, and when they're not obeyed, they should be enforced. You want to say no, no, no, it's only illegal immigration I want to have a look at, but they blur the lines, pretending you're saying something you're not, something broader than that, so you can be vilified and ridiculed for the stupid, racist thing you're not saying.

Seems too many qualified Americans were passed up under the previous administration in favor of foreign applicants.
H-1B visas are available to foreign nationals “to perform services in a specialty occupation, services of exceptional merit and ability.” Over the years, parameters have expanded to include fashion models and other not-so-high-tech endeavors.
Some 65,000 H-1Bs are allotted each year for workers with bachelor’s degrees, and 20,000 more are earmarked for those with master’s degrees or higher. Universities and research organizations are exempt from the caps.
Over the past year, USCIS has received over 5,000 e-mails reporting various forms of fraud, abuse and wage slavery involving H-1Bs.
Fake Charities Exploiting Military Families
You’re living in a hotel with your family waiting for government quarters. You hear of charities designed to help you. The problem is that they don’t!
Major cases. Who are the people behind these fake charities? The most accurate way to describe them is as con artists. CBS’s MoneyWatch reported that some individuals have actually done this multiple times, such as the case of Utah-based Travis Deloy Peterson who is behind the organizations Veterans of America, Vehicles for Veterans, Saving our Soldiers, Act of Valor and Medal of Honor. The Federal Trade Commission has charged Peterson with violating the Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act.
Documents filed by the FTC indicate that Peterson “has created and used a series of corporate entities and fictitious business names that sound like veterans’ charities (collectively, “fake charities”) to operate a telemarketing scheme that uses robocalls to trick generous Americans into giving their vehicles or other valuable property to him.” According to the case, both the calls and the claims that donations go to help veterans make his actions illegal.

Social Media Giants Shouldn’t Be Arbiters of Appropriate Speech
Of course they shouldn’t.
But, they’re private entities and one agrees to their Terms of Service when logging on. If they want to decide who uses their site and who doesn’t, that’s their business.
It’s not as if users wouldn’t possess a block button. I can’t recall a single time, in my decade using social media, that I opened an Infowars link. I doubt most of you have, either. Even if you did, you wouldn’t melt. They’re just words.
And the very last thing we need is some bureaucrat or politician telling them what to do.

Several strong jet streams flow west to east in Jupiter's atmosphere, which are similar to Earth's jet streams.
However, unlike on Earth where the jet streams meander across the surface, Jupiter's jet streams are more even and straight.
There are also no continents and mountains below Jupiter's atmosphere to obstruct the path of the jet streams.
As a result, the jet streams on Jupiter are much simpler than those on Earth, causing less turbulence in the upper atmosphere.
Clouds of ammonia at Jupiter's outer atmosphere are carried along by these jet streams to form Jupiter's regimented coloured bands.

How troops learn to sleep anywhere, any how, any way
It’s something you learn from your first day of in-processing. Hurry up and wait is the order of the day and what better way to pass the “wait” than dozing off?
The next contributing factor is that troops are generally sleep deprived and have their sleep cycles interrupted constantly. Starting in basic training, a drill sergeant could wake everyone up at 0100 for sh*ts and giggles, have a special someone pull fire guard at 0300, and wake up for the rest of the day at 0500.
