All those eager young people learned they were screwed by Hillary’s people and the DimocRAT party. Where are they going to turn in the midterms? IMHO, they’ll either stay home or try to support 3rd party candidates to get even with the Dims.

The result has left many Sanders supporters disillusioned, feeling that the group that was supposed to harness the senator's grass-roots movement is failing in its mission. The problems have also fueled doubts about Sanders’ organizational ability heading into 2020, even after his out-of-nowhere near-march to the nomination two years ago. Critics of the Vermont independent had been worried he’d have a juggernaut-in-waiting to fuel a second presidential campaign, but that anxiety has faded after watching Our Revolution the past year and a half.



The Wise Guy Wisdom of the Trump Revolution

Ya really gotta love this piece! Straight out of the best crime novel ever written. The hard core prosecutor goes after a bunch of wise guys. All playing out right before our eyes today.

During the 1980s—the heyday of the flamboyant, headline-grabbing New York mafioso, including Carmine “The Snake” Persico, Tony “Ducks” Corallo, and Vinny “The Chin” Gigante—an ambitious federal prosecutor named Rudy Giuliani made his bones sending wise guys to lock-up on Rikers Island, and sometimes (when the witnesses survived and didn’t lose their memories) federal prison.

While everything seems dire, it can all be summed up with this:

Trump’s age, his impulsiveness, and the virulence and tenacity of his enemies (who still hold enormous power) all make the future precarious. But we may be encouraged by a line from The Godfather’s Don Corleone: “Never hate your enemies. It affects your judgment.” Trump still seems to be having fun, while his adversaries are becoming increasingly unhinged as their grip on power becomes more desperate. This is dangerous, in the same way that trapped yet vicious animal is a danger; and yet it’s also encouraging. The side that keeps its humor will most likely keep its wits.

Every little bit matters, because . . . it’s gonna be close.



Dims Abandon Blue Collar Types for Immigrants


That’s the gist of the article How Dems Use the Immigration Status Quo to Buy Votes. They even seem to have given up on the black vote.

Once the party of America’s working class, the Democrats seem to have abandoned even the effort to win back blue-collar voters, and given up on loyalty to the America that really exists. As their academic allies tell them constantly, America as founded is hopelessly wicked.

But, as will many other efforts by the Dims, this might cause a major backlash.

A Democratic senator wrote, "When I see Mexican flags waved at pro-immigration demonstrations, I sometimes feel a flush of patriotic resentment. When I'm forced to use a translator to communicate with the guy fixing my car, I feel a certain frustration."

The blogger was Glenn Greenwald, a founding editor of The Intercept. The columnist was New York Times columnist Paul Krugman. The senator was Barack Obama.


The Blue Waves Continue to Subside

It’s all about $$$$$. With no limits on when campaigning can start. The onslaught of political ads seems overwhelming. Especially here in Nevada. Two Dims are fighting each other with some of the most vicious ads I’ve ever seen. And both are claiming to be PROGRESSIVES! (I don’t think most people watching have a clue as to what that really means)

DNC reports raising $7.8 million in April, lowest midterm figure for that month since 2006. Spent $8.3 million and ended month with $8.7 million in cash. Has $5.3 million in debts:

According to filings, the RNC took in $13 million in April — a fundraising record during a midterm election year — and spent $12.1 million. The Party finished the month with a whopping $43.8 million in its coffers.

Now, the question is – will the GOP actually use the $$$$ wisely to help pro-Trump candidates win in November?




The SCANDAL no one in the media is talking about: Blatant DNC Election Fraud

Maybe the Dims aren’t taking in a whole lot of $$$ but that doesn’t stop them from seeking other ways to win.

When the losing candidate sought a recount, he was stonewalled for months and then the ballots were illegally destroyed.

Politics sure gets interested now and then.


Trump Economy Sets More Records:

1st Quarter Profits, Earnings Reach All-Time Highs – Largest Monthly Surplus in History – Far Left Media Silent

No matter what the Lame Street Media reports, the average voter knows darn well that things are going great under President Tump. All one has to do is check their wallets and look at all the construction and new businesses opening up.

First quarter earnings are expected to increase 25.7% from Q1 2017. Excluding the energy sector, the earnings growth estimate declines to 23.7%.

Of the 409 companies in the S&P 500 that have reported earnings to date for Q1 2018, 79.2% have reported earnings above analyst expectations. This is above the long-term average of 64% and above the prior four quarter average of 72%

The Q1 2018 blended revenue growth estimate is 8.4%. Excluding the energy sector, the revenue growth estimate declines to 8.0%.

75.9% of companies have reported Q1 2018 revenue above analyst expectations. This is above the long-term average of 60% and above the prior four quarter average of 69%.

I sorta watched the interview but really didn’t pay all that much attention to it. But. After reading this article based on the interview, I find it worth sharing.

So, what’s the takeaway here? Sure, it’s fun to place a spotlight on a solitary Democrat who dares reject the “collusion” orthodoxy, but this feels much bigger than a petty opportunity for finger-wagging. This feels like something is changing on the broader political landscape.

I’d wager that, however much they may be loath to admit it, the left is starting to come to a place of realization. Mueller’s probe is not going to bring Trump down. Their phony Russian conspiracy is going down in flames, and they’ve started to notice that it’s taking the Democratic Party with it. Trump’s numbers are up, their donations have cratered, their “blue wave” isn’t coming, and the country is sick of the endless drumbeat of Trump-hate.

In short, they’ve realized that they made their own bed – and they’re desperately searching for a way to avoid lying in it.


GOP Rep Introduced an Education Reform Bill


H.R. 4508 is designed to allow more enrollment in community colleges and trade schools. US Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) couldn’t afford college so she worked hard and attended a junior college. From there, she managed to earn a masters and doctorate.

Of course, some Dims oppose it.

"Unfortunately, the bill cannot be considered bipartisan because it chooses clear winners and losers. Under this bill, corporate interests are put first and students are put last," said US Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA).

Of course, the family refuted the claim declaring he was a practicing Muslim and showed no signs of seeking to do such a thing.

The Xinjiang province of China is home to about 22 million people, most of whom are either Uyghur, an ethnically Turkic Muslim group, or Kazakh. In a country that boasts nearly 200 million CCTV surveillance cameras and next to no right to privacy from the central government, the Uyghurs and Kazakhs of Xinjiang are the most heavily surveilled group in China.

Seems the Chinese government is set on not allowing Muslims to gain any real advantage anywhere within its boundaries. Their means are tough and I’m sure many would claim downright cruel.

We’ve all heard or read of insane judicial decisions but this has to be one of the worst. There is no way this kid is likely to earn a tiny percent of that in his entire lifetime.

And here’s the worst part of it. The kid knows just how insane it is and is probably chuckling inside to know he actually got away without any real punishment for what he did. 5 years probably? So what.

The payments can be waived after a decade if the teenager serves out his five-year probation sentence and commits no further crimes.

And what happens if he commits another crime? They going to take all of his earnings for the rest of his life? Easy for him to fix. Just don’t work and live on welfare.



‘Magnum P.I.’ Is Returning to TV

Groan.

Another rehash of a show that was popular decades ago. We’ve already got “Hawaii Five-O” and “MacGyver” and now they want to suck us in with this?

I watched the trailer @ https://www.lifezette.com/popzette/magnum-p-i-is-returning-to-tv-without-tom-sellecks-mustache/ and can tell you that it has absolutely nothing similar to the original. It’s missing the key that made the original work – great relationships among the characters. And some sexy broad with a British accent isn’t about to equal the iconic Higgins.
