Thieves steal razor wire from border fence, Mueller report, The Kosovo War and much more for March 25, 2019 9

Top Democrat Rips Trump White House For 'Stonewalling' Congressional Probes
Good for them! Everybody who knows this jerk knows he on a witch hunt.
Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), chair of House oversight committee, ripped the Trump administration in a Washington Post op-ed Tuesday, writing that “the White House has not turned over a single piece of paper to our committee or made a single official available for testimony” in response to multiple requests since Democrats took control of the House in January.
Let’s hope the president’s legal team has their act together to fight this guy – and all the other Dims out to get him.

Border Patrol Releases Migrants, Citing Lack of Space in Detention Centers
Nah! There’s no emergency on the border. Hundreds get caught and there’s no where to detain then or take actions required by outdated and antiquated laws.
U.S. Customs and Border Patrol on Tuesday released 50 migrants recently detained at the border near Mcallen, Texas due to a lack of space in the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention centers they would otherwise be sent to while awaiting their asylum hearings.
CPB officials told the Los Angeles Times that the migrants released Tuesday represent just the first wave of a group of hundreds whom they will be forced to release in the coming days due to a lack of resources.
Border Patrol spokesman Carlos Diaz said the 50 migrants were given notices to appear in court and released to local charities after their processing center in McAllen was overwhelmed by the number of migrants arriving each day.
It is a crisis,” an unnamed CPB official told the Times. “It’s not a self-proclaimed crisis.”

Fox & Friends’ Host Kilmeade Knocks Trump for Attacking McCain
Makes Absolutely No Sense’
I agree with him. While I love and respect our president, I really think it was beneath him to take the time to Tweet about a man who couldn’t respond. We all know that Mc
Cain was a POS and recent revelations confirm it. I just think the president should’ve stayed out of it.
And here’s the other side:

I lost respect for McCain because of his duplicity. If no one wants Trump to 'pick a fight with a dead man' then tell Meghan and the rest of the Dem trash to quit digging up his corpse for political pot shots. pic.twitter.com/StzhDItdVk

Fla. Bill Makes It Illegal to Leave Pets Behind During Storms
I normally don’t like government telling people who to do but this is one a fully agree with. We take them into our homes with the promise to care for a protect them. So, when we flee, we have an obligation to take them with us.
A new bill in the Florida State Legislature would make the practice of leaving animals behind during natural disasters illegal and punishable by a fine and possibly jail time.
According to the Miami Herald, Senate Bill 1738 was introduced by Republican Joe Gruters, a member of Florida's Senate, on March 1. Pet owners in violation of the law could be slapped with a $5,000 fine and up to one year behind bars because of an animal cruelty charge, which is classified as a first-degree misdemeanor.
The Florida Senate is considering the bill, which according to the Herald would go into effect July 1 if it makes it through the legislative process. It already passed in the Senate Agriculture Committee on Monday by a 5-0 vote.
The law would be applicable during all natural disasters and during both mandatory and voluntary evacuations. Pet owners would be subjected to it if they restrain their animals outside and then leave the property to escape the storm.
"We want to give these dogs a fighting chance," Gruters said during Monday's Agriculture Committee hearing, according to The Palm Beach Post.

Rep. Adam Schiff is “going to milk the Mueller investigation for all its worth”
He doesn’t care what it contains or what the conclusions are.
None of the Dimocraps do.
And there is no doubt CNN, MSNBC, and the rest will do everything they can to give him all the air time he wants.
In fact, Robert Mueller could be dragged before the House Intelligence Committee, according to Fox News.
If necessary, we will call Bob Mueller or others before our committee, I would imagine the Judiciary Committee may call the attorney general if necessary,” the California Democrat said during a CNN interview.
At the end of the day, the department is under a statutory obligation to provide our committee with any information regarding significant intelligence activities, including counterintelligence. And it’s hard to imagine anything more significant than what Bob Mueller has been investigating,” he said.

Stuff like this normally gets released late Friday afternoon when the so-called news cycle is slow. So, the way this has come out it not only unusual but set as to drive media operations nuts.
Is anyone surprised by the reactions?
Here are just some of the headlines:

Parents Get Huge Win In Suit Against School District For Forcing CAIR Propaganda on Kids
Leftists scream bloody murder when the Oath of Allegiance is recited with the words, “Under God.” But it’s okay to force little kids to watch videos and hear propaganda about Islam?
The District enacted its initiative in 2017 at the behest of CAIR, which claimed that “Islamophobia” was sweeping through schools after the November 2016 elections. According to the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund – which brought the lawsuit on behalf of five San Diego families – CAIR activists were teaching schoolchildren “how to become allies to Muslim students” and conducting Islamic education workshops for teachers, among other inequities.

FBI” More people killed with hammers and clubs than with every kind of rifle
I am instantly going to contact my representative in Congress to demand that all those purchasing a hammer be required to undergo an extensive background check. And all hammers and clubs must instantly be identified and recorded in a national registry.
How about you?
According to the Uniform Crime Report, 467 people were killed with “blunt objects (hammers, clubs, etc.),” while 403 were killed were rifles.
The FBI report also reveals that 692 people were killed with “personal weapons” like “hands, fists, feet, etc..” and that is higher than the number of people killed with rifles and shotguns combined.

Thieves Arrested For Stealing Razor Wire From U.S.-Mexico Border To Protect Their Own Homes
I wonder if they’ll cut up pieces of the wall to add to their own home defenses in the crime-ridden area they live in in Mexico.
Since last week, more than a dozen people have been arrested in the Mexican border city of Tijuana for stealing razor wire from the U.S.-Mexico border fence to increase security around their own homes.

Sexist’ Trump Has More Women as Senior Advisors than the Last 3 Presidents
The media won’t report this. In fact, they do their utmost to bury it. In fact, if one does an internet search about that and minorities, the majority of results will be negative.
All lies.
Donald Trump is such a reputed sexist that, the day after his inauguration, more than half a million people descended on Washington D.C. with knit pink hats, pithy signs and scowls.
Many in the nation’s capital and other cities said they were inspired to join because of Trump’s divisive campaign and his disparagement of women, minorities and immigrants. In signs and shouts, they mocked what they characterized as Trump’s lewd language and sexist demeanor,” The Washington Post reported after the 2017 Women’s March.
Trump Put More Women In Top Roles Than Obama, Bush, Clinton @ https://www.teaparty.org/trump-put-women-top-roles-obama-bush-clinton-352972/

Russia sends troops to Venezuela
One of the major stances of American foreign policy about the Americas has always been one of opposing interference by non-American governments. Russia is rubbing our noses in this.
The Russian Defense Ministry send An-124 military transport aircraft, IL-62M jet airliner and more than 100 troops to Caracas, against the backdrop of growing tensions between Venezuela and the U.S.
Some source claims that Chief of the General Staff of the Ground Forces Col. Gen. Vasily Tonkoshkurov have arrived with troops.
But, what can we do about it? The country has descended into chaos with people eating garbage and killing pets. Those that can, are fleeing to other countries.
I don’t think the idea of our taking part in armed intervention is very popular.
The emergence of a large number of the Russian military is the desire of Moscow to show their determination to Trump administration. Moreover, some sources say that a new Russian military base may appear in Venezuela in the near future.

Scalia’s Decades-Old Warning
Scalia said that there was “a widespread and deep feeling of powerlessness in the country is apparent with respect to many issues, not just the budget issue. The people do not feel that their wishes are observed. They are heard but they are not heeded, particularly at the federal level.
The basic problem is simply that the Congress has become professionalized,” he said. “Its members have a greater interest than ever before in remaining in office; and it is served by a bureaucracy and is much more subject to the power of individualized pressure groups than to the unorganized feelings of the majority of the citizens.
And, he said, the states’ mere utilization of the Article V power would be enough to spur changes.
One remedy for that, the one specifically provided for in the Constitution, is this amendment process which bypasses the Congress. I would like to see that amendment process used — just having it used once will exert an enormous influence on both the Congress and the Supreme Court.”
I emphasized his words about Congress. This comes from his comments in 1979 and should amaze one at how farsighted he was.
A lot of people are now making noises about an Article V convention so it makes sense to discover exactly what it is. Here goes:
The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.
Kinda scary when one thinks about it. I can’t find out how such a convention would work. Where would it be held? Who would take part? Who would lead/moderate it? Would there be 50 different state conventions or one?
Anyone have answers?

The Kosovo War in Retrospect
How many remember about this and when it happened?
And what it was all about?
Most important, how many know that we still have 621 special operators there – down from a one-time high of 19,000?
President Clinton got us into it, something the Dims won’t tell you. What is going to happen if President Trump decides it’s time to bring our troops home from there?
Two decades later, it is hard to imagine a U.S. president, and certainly a Democratic president, using this level of force for humanitarian purposes, particularly without authorization from the United Nations. Nor would there be cries from Europeans to act, as there were in 2011 when the British and French pushed for the intervention in Libya. But the Kosovo War raises interesting questions for candidates running for president: Should the United States and its NATO allies have acted 20 years ago to prevent what may have been another act of genocide committed by Milošević? Would they simply stand by today under similar circumstances given current attitudes toward military intervention?

How NATO bombed Serbs into submission and left toxic legacy behind
Another version of NATO’s intervention in the breaking-up Yugoslavia.
Two decades ago, NATO started its 78-day bombing campaign against Yugoslavia. RT America’s Alex Mihailovich revisits the Balkans to recall how the intervention happened and see the harm the people in the Balkans still suffer from.
The 1999 NATO operation was the culmination of Yugoslavia’s decade of bloody dissolution, which split the entire region along ethnic and religious lines. Mihailovich was there when the cruise missiles started hitting Novi Sad and other major cities. Touted as a surgical humanitarian intervention to stop the violence in Kosovo, in reality, Operation Allied Force killed more civilians than troops and devastated civilian infrastructure of the nation.
It had plenty of unintended consequences too, from hitting a civilian train, a marketplace and the Chinese Embassy, to polluting the land with depleted uranium. The toxic substance is used for armor-piercing munitions and is believed to be the cause of a spike of cancer cases today.
