The approximately 98,000 voters on the state’s original list were registered voters who had, at some point in recent years, identified themselves as noncitizens to the Department of Public Safety while receiving or renewing their driver’s licenses. But tens of thousands of those individuals, it has come out in recent weeks, were naturalized before registering to vote, making casting a ballot legal.
A perfect example why we need a national voters ID. Our republic will live or die on the purity of our most precious right – the ability to vote secretly and securely for our leaders at all levels. When the Dims can’t win fair and square, they revert to this crap.

India/Pakistan Conflict Continues to get Worse
First, Pakistan militants attacked and killed Indians inside Indian-administered Kashmir. Then India sent jets into Pakistan that were downed. Now, India has bombed a supposed militant camp inside Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
Neither side appears to be backing down.
Looking at the graphic, it’s clear Indian outguns Pakistan in every aspect – except for Nukes.
If reports of the use of the Mirage 2000 jet fighter are correct, it raises a risky aspect to the raid. The jet is capable of deploying nuclear weapons.
Any border crossing by these Indian warplanes could be construed by Pakistan as a nuclear first strike.
Since the suicide bombing in mid February, Indian police have been mainly targeting Kashmir’s largest political-religious group, Jama’at-e-Islami.
The group is dedicated to the right to self-determination for the Himalayan region, which is divided between India and Pakistan but claimed by both in its entirety.
Residents fear the crackdown could be a prelude to a military strike by India against Pakistan or tinkering with Kashmir’s special status in India’s constitution.

Once a strategic hub, Shank was a bulwark against Taliban enclaves in the lawless Tangi Valley to its west. An American-built runway allowed huge cargo planes to bring in troops, weapons and equipment.
Among the largest coalition bases at one time, it once hosted a 50-shop bazaar, four beauty salons, three restaurants and an academy to train soldiers in the counterinsurgency doctrine officials had hoped would end the war. It’s now a much different sight.

While still battling the Taliban, units like Cote’s rushed to tear apart over 500 bases, shuttering many and downsizing others to be given to the Afghan forces. Some $860 million in property was transferred by 2015, including four logistics hubs, 13 operating bases and hundreds of tactical outposts, the Defense Department has said. Now researchers have found that the tiny rodents making these sounds, known as Alston’s singing mice, take turns belting out their tunes much in the same way people take turns when they talk to each other.

Did you know that studying fluorescent sea creatures led to the revolution in television screens?
Makos, the world’s fastest sharks, have rows of millions of tiny raised scales along their sides and fins that researchers at the University of Alabama (UA) believe could be the reason for that lightning speed.
The mako’s scales, called denticles, are translucent, flexible and shaped like tiny shark teeth. The denticles are streamlined, so that from nose to tail the shark’s skin feels smooth, but in the reverse it's rough, like sandpaper.
If the water flow changes when a mako shark is swimming, its denticles rise automatically.
“It’s entirely passive, and happens in about 0.2 milliseconds,” Lang told NewScientist.
