How the hell could anyone complain about a picture of coal miners relaxing after work. It’s not exactly a clean office job where the only black comes from ink or toner spills.

For me, the coal miners disappeared and a film honored for its artistic merit, despite being the most racist propaganda films ever, D.W. Griffith’s “Birth of a Nation” (1915) surfaces, in which white actors appeared in blackface. The white owner saw coal miners in the photograph. Therefore, it was not offensive.
Fact: The photograph shows coal miners’ faces covered in soot. The context of the photograph is not the issue.

I think this is hilarious. President Trump has to be splitting his sides laughing over what he will face in 2020.
In their weekly memo to baristas, the “Barista Need-To-Know," Starbucks included instructions on how to "diffuse [sic] the situation” if customers decide to "share aggressive political opinions."

If a customer asks if we are selling Howard’s book at Starbucks:

Colorado Joins Other Blue States in Pact Aimed at Getting Rid of the Electoral College
All sore losers trying to overcome the will of the people.
Others that have joined the pact include Connecticut, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and the District of Columbia — all places where Clinton defeated Trump in 2016.
They need enough states to come up to 270 electoral votes. So far, they’ve got 172.
Article II of the Constitution determines that each state shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
I don’t understand the 270 number. To eliminate the Electoral College requires a Constitutional amendment. Here’s the procedure for that:
Article Five
The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.
In other words, they would still need to go through the amendment process to eliminate the Electoral College and make presidential elections by popular vote.
Ain’t gonna happen.
