'Whether You Love Him or Hate Him': President Trump's 3 Qualities Christian Leaders Should Learn
Not just religious leaders but all Americans.

CNN Report: Millions Of American Voters May Have Colluded To Elect Trump
I’m not going to capsulize. Here’s the whole thing:
U.S.—A new, exclusive CNN investigative report revealed Thursday that millions of American voters may have potentially colluded with the Trump campaign to elect Donald Trump as President of the United States.
While Russia has been accused of interfering in the election, the breaking report indicates that the collusion may have extended to a significant portion of the U.S. population—“as many as 60 million citizens, and possibly even more.”
The conspiracy goes much deeper than anyone expected,” Jake Tapper said on his news segment The Politics Lead. “We’re talking tens of millions of people involved in this secret plot to make sure Hillary didn’t make it into the White House and to prop up Donald Trump as the winner.”
The CNN report does not accuse anyone of hacking or rigging the vote, but rather suggests that those colluding with the real estate mogul in the far-reaching scheme may have simply walked into voting booths and cast their vote for Donald Trump, giving him the electoral college victory.
It’s far more sinister than we thought,” a visibly disturbed Tapper said.

Kavanaugh is a Nice Guy and a Good Dad
The Left hates this piece in the WaPo.
I’ll leave it to others to gauge Judge Kavanaugh’s qualifications for the Supreme Court as a jurist. But as someone who would bring to his work the traits of personal kindness, leadership and willingness to help when called on, he would receive a unanimous verdict in his favor from those who know him.
So McCain “strongly endorses” the nominee.
Allahpundit at Hot Air takes the analysis further. He discusses the possibility that, if necessary, McCain might resign from the Senate so he can be replaced by someone who can vote to confirm Kavanaugh. The power to appoint a replacement resides with the state’s Republican governor, and the replacement would not be up for reelection until 2020.

The Strzok Hearing – The DimocRATs Disgrace Themselves

I was forced to watch it, tuning in when the Dim co-Chair made his usual anti-Trump rant. It went downhill from there.
Until – Gomert made his comments about the sleazeball looking at his wife while cheating on her with his co-worker. I don’t know which I enjoyed more. Gomert or the unbelievable outrage of the committee Dims.
After giving an opening statement lauding his own patriotism, Strzok refused to answer questions on the ground that an FBI lawyer had told him not to. What followed was a farce–a farce deliberately created and sustained by the Democratic members of the committee. They interrupted constantly with silly points of order, heckled the committee chairman, and generally tried to disrupt the proceedings. To understand how bad it was, just go here and scan the transcript. My favorite moment was when Sheila Jackson Lee claimed that Strzok was entitled to claim attorney-client privilege (which, of course, he didn’t do).

Rosenstein Announces Worthless Indictments
What is going to force the 12 Russians to show up in an American court? But, here’s the part the media won’t report:
The indictment does not allege that Trump campaign associates were involved in the hacking efforts or that any American was knowingly in contact with Russian intelligence officers.
The indictment also does not allege that any vote tallies were altered by hacking.
In other words, the entire Mueller investigation is a farce and has no reason to continue.

Obama’s Treasury secretary labelled predatory lender; ‘monetizing poor people’
Another huge story buried by the media. An Obama official heading up a predatory lender that scams millions from poor Americans. Take a look at this:
Speaking to the Post, a man named Stephen Huggins said he randomly received a check in the mail for $1,200. When he read it closely, he saw that the interest rate would be 33 percent. He said he put it aside and didn’t plan to use it, until his truck broke down and he needed to ensure his family had reliable transportation.
One year later, he owes $3,221.27.
You think they’re helping you out — and what they’re doing is they’re sinking you further down,” said Huggins. “They’re actually digging the hole deeper and pushing you further down.”
How many here have been sucked into this? I have but how and why is another story.

Pelosi Imploding More Each Day
It’s really sad. Shame she just won’t step down and let someone better-qualified take her place.

House Conservatives Prepare Impeachment Push For Rod Rosenstein
I’m sharing this because I’ve seen at least a dozen posts on this during my daily news scan. It appears to be legit and an actual push to kick him out of the DOJ.
The push for impeachment is reportedly being led by two of the most conservative members of the House, Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan, who are both on the House Freedom Caucus.
Republicans have recently accused the DOJ of ignoring their requests to hand over documents related to ongoing probes.

He's 63, just joined the Navy and says, 'I'm in my prime'
It was his 27 year old ensign daughter who performed the oath of office.
A lot of people don’t even you know you can join the Reserves and contribute. A lot of people in the private sector have a lot of skills they can bring to the Navy and military in general,” he said. “You can be 40 years old, 50 years old and your profession may be something that’s necessary in the military. You can certainly give back by joining the Reserves.”
Why am I posting this? Well, to be honest, during my recent visits to the hospital at Nellis AFB, I’ve encountered a lot of doctors who completed their civilian careers and are serving at the hospital to treat military personnel and their families. Certainly not for the money but because they want to contribute their skills to where it counts. My own Primary Care Doctor completed 3 decades as an Internist and is serving under she starts up her own biomedical company. I really like who she treats me.

I saw NATO’s flaws up close in combat. Bullying can’t fix them.
An interesting article with one of the most descriptive pieces I’ve read about combat in Afghanistan and how NATO forces deal with being there.
Our convoy limped back to base. We arrived the following morning, our trucks shot out, one dead friend, and more wounded, some of whom would return to us and others who wouldn’t. We were in a sour mood. The source of our ire fell distinctly on the medevac that had failed to arrive.
NATO medevacs were not allowed into a “hot zone” but 2 US Black Hawks came to their aid instead.

El Niño likely will develop later this year, promising significant impacts around the world
The sky is falling! The sky is falling! We much all rush to shelter and protect ourselves from the horrors of this natural occurrence.
That’s the increasingly confident forecast from the U.S. Climate Prediction Center. In its latest monthly report, the CPC continued an El Niño watch and boosted the odds of it developing during the Northern Hemisphere winter of 2018-2019 to 70 percent. Last month, the center pegged El Niño’s chances at 65 percent.

Tiny tremors push Vancouver Island away from B.C. mainland
A series of small tremors over the last few weeks have pushed Vancouver Island away from the B.C. mainland, according to a federal scientist.
John Cassidy, a seismologist with Natural Resources Canada, said the shift is known as an episodic tremor, and it happens every 14 or 15 months.
"Over the past few weeks the southern half of Vancouver Island has actually moved about four or five millimetres to the west towards Japan. It's something that happens around the world in similar tectonic settings," Cassidy told CBC.

To whom does the future belong? What skills will be needed to thrive?
This lengthy essay contains some interesting comments on our current education system and what will be needed to prepare students for the future. Not being an educator, I can’t really comment on it and am only presenting it for discussion.
Reform may never be “finished,” but we’ll know that our K–12 system is succeeding when almost all parents are satisfied customers and when almost all graduates:
Successfully complete some form of postsecondary education, whether it be a technical credential, two- or four-year degree, or military training;
Become self-sufficient soon after completing their education, with a rewarding career that can support a family; and
Participate as active and informed citizens in our democracy and civil society institutions.
At last! An educator who looks beyond academia. Is he actually indicating that trades might be acceptable for our youth?

I sure wouldn’t want to be living there with that monster hovering over me. If a big part breaks off, the waves could inundate the town.
