All the candidates, to one degree or another, are laboring with a hovering perception among Democratic influentials that, for one reason or another, their candidacies are suffering from fundamental infirmities.
Aren’t we so lucky as what the Boob Tube has to offer us these days?
The Impeachment Circus followed by the Dimocrap Klown Kar.

Professor Donna Freitas questioned the damage smartphones were doing to young people’s lives.
“The fact that no one can focus, that my students can’t sleep… They feel bad about themselves because of social media, and the list goes on and on,” she said.
Students came out of the experiment wanting to drastically cut their screen time and live more in the moment.
“My screen time is definitely going to go down, and I’m going start to appreciate my surroundings more because usually I’m looking at my screen all the time,” Ashley Castillero said.
Maybe they actually paid attention to the world around them. And had the satisfaction of talking face-to-face with others.
I wonder how soon they’ll revert to their old ways.

Navy commando accused of war crimes faces expulsion from SEALs after Trump restored rank

The military has launched proceedings to expel commando Edward Gallagher from the Navy SEALs – who faced court-martial for war crimes earlier this year – even after President Trump restored his rank in a recent clemency order.
A review hearing scheduled for early December will determine whether Gallagher can continue to be a SEAL, Navy Captain Tamara Lawrence told Reuters. The commando’s own lawyer also confirmed he had been served with a notice informing him of the upcoming hearing.
At this point, why should he care? He’s back at Chief Petty Officer and has indicated he’s putting in his retirement papers. Can you imagine the book deals he’s gonna get? And the speaking fees?
Three of Gallagher’s commanding officers also face individual review hearings to determine whether they will be removed from the SEALs, Lawrence added.

It’s The Crisis In Mexico

The first was a report from BuzzFeed that as of Wednesday the Trump administration began carrying out a controversial plan to deport asylum-seekers from El Salvador and Honduras—not to their home countries, but to Guatemala, which the administration has designated a “safe third country,” meaning that migrants from those countries must first apply for asylum in Guatemala before seeking asylum in the United States.
The second story was a Los Angeles Times dispatch from the Mexican state of Michoacán, where rival cartels are waging war not over drug trafficking routes but over control of the multibillion-dollar avocado industry. More than a dozen criminal groups are fighting over the avocado trade in and around Uruapan, the capitol of Michoacán, “preying on wealthy orchard owners, the laborers who pick the fruit and the drivers who truck it north to the United States,” writes reporter Kate Linthicum. Organized crime in Mexico, she explains, is diversifying—it isn’t just about drugs anymore:
The country is slowing sinking into anarchy.
And the new president has not but empty platitudes as solutions. He claimed to create a new, non-corrupt, federal police force but it doesn’t seem to be doing much so far.
The upshot is that as Mexico descends into warlordism marked by widespread criminality and gang warfare, we should expect ordinary Mexicans to respond the way ordinary Central Americans have. Eventually, they’ll leave. Many of them, perhaps hundreds of thousands, will at some point head north and claim asylum. When they do, the border crisis that we’ve been dealing with for the past year will seem insignificant—a prelude to a much larger and intractable crisis, for which there will be no easy fix.
They used to come for economic reasons. Now it’s fearing for their lives.

Both the Office of the General Prosecutor and Members of Parliament in Ukraine today have named multiple US citizens and political organizations with involvement in the massive corruption scandal surrounding Burisma Holdings money-laundering and racketeering.
Hunter Biden is one of the main individuals named in the newly filed charges against the owner of Burisma Holdings, the Ukraine energy company on whose board Biden sits. The filing which was largely ignored by the mainstream media specifically says that Hunter Biden was one of the conduits through which money was “siphoned” from Ukraine.
Additionally, both the DNC organization and Barack Hussein Obama were named in the documents as having direct and indirect ties to this massive corrupt money-laundering operation.
Do you think things are starting to unravel?

Stormtroopers with jetpacks?
To say that I’m a fan of Star Wars is an understatement. When Return of the Jedi came out in 1983, I actually broke a long-time personal taboo to stand in line to watch it in a movie theater. I’ve watched it so many times since that I can’t count.
So, here are some personal comments.
I really thought this would be the blockbuster of all scifi movies.
The special effects awed me. The first 5 or 6 times. After that, they got boring.
Even Sir Alec was wooden and emotionless. Or, what emotions did get shown weren’t that convincing.
I’ve watched every single film that’s come out since. I never saw an improvement in the acting of Mark Hamill or Carie Fisher. Some of the others did get better.
Will I watch them again?
You bet.
Will I watch this next one?
When it comes to Pay-for-view.

An email with all sort of nasties. Problem is that nobody seems to be able to verify it was actually from an aide and that any of the contents are true.

I and other aides have overheard on multiple occasions House Speaker Nancy Pelosi call Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “a f*cking moron” and “dumber than a box of rocks” after she had seen some of her livestreams on social media (most recently, the Instagram video where she accused the U.S. of running concentration camps at the southern border while “babbling incoherently”).
Mrs. Pelosi also said the “next generation” of specifically female Democrats will be the “downfall of the Democratic Party” because of their “nonsensical, idiotic and unrealistic” socialist ideologies. She even went to the extent of calling Ms. Cortez’s ‘Green New Deal’ the “absolute dumbest and elementary f*cking plan ever developed by a Congressperson” and said “Koko the gorilla could have done a better job.”
Now, it is rumored Mrs. Pelosi’s outburst may have been triggered after she heard whisperings of Ms. Cortez claiming she and other “old, outdated Dems smelled like their adult diapers hadn’t been changed in a month.” I am not sure how true these claims are, but they did seem to affect Mrs. Pelosi deeply to the point where she exploded in a fit of rage.
I, for one, tend to believe the contents of this.

Washington, DC July 4th Schedule
Dims and Leftists are salivating their hate over this.
The memo from the Department of Interior spells out some of what is planned for Independent Day.’
Salute to America will honor each of the nation’s five service branches with music, military demonstrations, flyovers and more. Participants include the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, the U.S. Army Band, known as “Pershing’s Own”, the Armed Forces Chorus, the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Team, and others.
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, the World War II Memorial and Constitution Gardens will each be available as locations from which to view the fireworks. The change comes due to the launch site being moved from the Reflecting Pool to West Potomac Park.

President Trump’s address will be presented at the Lincoln Memorial at 6:30 p.m. A flyover will be part of his presentation.
A Capitol Fourth Concert will begin at 8 p.m. ET on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The event is co-sponsored by the National Park Service and the National Symphony Orchestra.
Fireworks will begin at 9:07 p.m. ET and last until 9:27 p.m. ET. The display will take place over the National Mall and will be visible from locations throughout D.C. and northern Virginia.

The numbers keep rolling up. These only passed out of committee but are guaranteed to pass the full Senate as soon as McConnell sets the date.
“I am convinced, and I’m sorry Senator Feinstein is not, that this is well within the mainstream of what we’ve done with circuit judges in the past,” Graham said Thursday.
The committee spent Thursday advancing Trump’s nominees to seats on courts in blue states, including seven nominees to federal courts in New York, three to seats on courts in Illinois and one each to seats on courts in Maryland and Rhode Island.
President Trump picked all of the nominees in these states last Congress and they all advanced through the committee last year.
The committee also advanced the nominations of Jason Pulliam, up for a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Stephanie Davis, nominated to a seat on the U.S. District Court for the District of Michigan, and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia nominee Frank Volk.
In addition, the committee advanced the nomination of David Tapp, who is up for a seat on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
I bet Feinstein is seething over this.

Tijuana Cartel War: 18 Murdered In 24 Hours
A recent report from the State Attorney General’s Office indicated that only 17 percent of 1,170 murder cases in Tijuana in 2019 have been prosecuted due to an extreme backlog.
The bloodshed is generally related to turf wars involving street-level dealers aligned with either the Cártel Tijuana Nueva Generación (CTNG) and El Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación, against the Sinaloa Cartel.

The city said the top destination so far for Congolese families is Portland, Maine, followed by New York City and Buffalo, New York.

The family built a Little Free Pantry for their neighborhood with just a $40 budget and using recycled materials. After picking up an old cabinet, some wood, and paint, the family went to work with the help of Miles.
The pantry now stands next to a community garden at 30th and Jordan streets, two blocks south of State Street in Boise, for anyone in need to use.
"Take what you need, leave what you can. It's just giving. Everyone's got their times of need," Miller said.
The family keeps it stocked with canned food, baby items, and other necessities. Their neighbors also pitch in for supplies whenever they can.

Boyan Slat, creator of the Ocean Cleanup project, announced on Twitter that a 600 metre (2,000ft) long floating boom that broke apart late last year was sent back to the Great Pacific garbage patch this week after four months of repair.
A ship towed the U-shaped barrier from San Francisco to the patch in September to trap the plastic. But during the four months at sea, the boom broke apart under constant waves and wind and the boom was not retaining the plastic it caught.
“Hopefully nature doesn’t have too many surprises in store for us this time,” Slat tweeted. “Either way, we’re set to learn a lot from this campaign.”

“Sessions, I don’t think, has ruled it out,” Sen. Richard C. Shelby (R-Ala.) told reporters. “I’ve talked to him about it. I think if he ran, he would be a formidable candidate. Formidable. I’ve not encouraged him to run, but he’s a friend, and if he ran, I think he’d probably clear the field.”
Sessions, who held his Senate seat for 20 years, declined to comment on questions about his plans, an assistant said.
He’ll go down in history as the second worse traitor behind Benedict Arnold.

Waive the Jones Act to ship LNG to Puerto Rico
A lot of old oil-burning power plants are being converted to natural gas.
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States are booming, and, in 2017, after 60 years of being a net importer of natural gas, we became a net exporter.  Ships are leaving American ports loaded with LNG for countries all over the planet, but they cannot deliver to Puerto Rico, specifically because it is part of the United States.  The 1920 Jones Act restricts the transportation of cargo between two American ports to ships that are U.S.-built, U.S.-crewed, U.S.-owned, and U.S. flagged.  However, as the government of Puerto Rico noted in its waiver request: “of the 478 LNG carriers that currently exist in the world, none are Jones Act eligible.” Thus, without a waiver, Puerto Rico simply cannot transport American LNG to Puerto Rico.
We’ve got more than we know what to do with but can’t send it to one of our own territories.
The opposition to granting this limited waiver to the Jones Act is being advanced by members of Congress who represent shipbuilding interests. Shipbuilders have long feared that any crack in the Jones Act will lead to its eventual repeal and force them to compete directly with lower-cost foreign competitors. Such an argument rings hollow given that there are no American shipbuilders constructing oceangoing LNG carriers, nor have any expressed any intent to do so.

Trump Orders Health Care Providers To Reveal Prices Before They Deliver Services

In an executive order issued Monday, Trump ordered the Department of Health and Human Services and other federal agencies to develop rules that will require hospitals and other health care providers to disclose prices to show what both the insurer and the patient will pay for a service.
The new rules would also force health care providers and insurers to tell patients exactly what their out-of-pocket costs would be before any service is provided.
“Everyday American patients are being taken advantage of by a system that hides critical information from them that they need to make decisions for them and their families,” Azar said. He added that knowing the cost of service beforehand means Americans would be able to comparison shop — just like they might when getting their cars fixed.
Also says they will work to stop “surprise billing” where you find out weeks or months later that your insurance won’t pay.

Pelosi knows better than to chastise AOC and so ducked the question when asked why AOC never shuts up.
Well, I'm with Pelosi, for different reasons. Please don't shut up, AOC. We appreciate your drawing a sharp contrast every day between the noxious views of your party, which now dutifully embodies your extremism, and those representing responsible governance. Thank you for liberally exercising your First Amendment freedoms.
