“Molly” an effective PTSD treatment?
The main ingredient is MDMA, also known as Ectasy.
After taking a dose of pure MDMA, Tipton lay in a quiet room with two specially trained psychotherapists. They sat next to her as she recalled some of her deepest traumas, such as discovering her mother’s body after Tipton’s mother killed two people and then herself in a murder-suicide.

One has to be very careful with stuff like this. It’s not what you buy on the street but a medication prepared under strict controls. The same with how it’s used.

What a great question!
Draining the swamp is a catchphrase that’s just about everywhere, every day.
But nobody else has ever asked this question.
Thanks to HumorTimes, here it is.
According to this author, they’re only going to change faces. And yes, he’s about as leftist as they come, attacking all sorts of presidential appointees.
But, it’s a great question and I would love to see someone seriously answer it.


Boooooring
I hav 201 sites that I routinely visit using Feedly. They range from The Atlantic to National Review and Breitbart. Oh yeah, add Pocket that comes with Firefox.
You’d think there’d be a lot of interesting stuff to find.
Wrong!
90%+ is all the same stuff. Day in and day out.
What you see me post on forums and in my blog are rare gems that take hours on end to find.
I tell myself I should stop and get back to work on the novels gathering dust in my Windows Explorer files. But, writer’s block is still there and going through all of this is better than staring at TV news that all about the very same things I’m seeing online.
So?
What to do?
Guess I’ll just hang in there until the creative light burns again.
I just hope you enjoy what I do end up finding.

A guy by the name of Matthew Continetti reads and it tears it to shreds. Here’s his opening:

My question is; how did such a clearly unprofessional person get a job as an editor for a major news outlet?

Mountain lions force closure of California nature preserve
Rancho San Antonio — located between Mountain View and Cupertino — consists of 24 miles of trails and draws 700,000 visitors each year. Along with its trail system, the preserve is also home to Deer Hollow Farm — a working farm with a cow, pigs, goats and chickens.
It’s an open area of over 4,000 acres in Santa Clara County between Santa Cruz and San Francisco. No word on how long it’ll stay closed.
But in the meantime, officials advise that if you happen to spot a mountain lion, keep your children and pets close, back away slowly and try and look big — face the animal, stand tall, make noise and wave your arms.

I’ve seen this mentioned many, many times and have only briefly checked it out. To put in a nutshell, it’s all about the first African slaves arriving in American and the leftist charge this this country was built on the backs of slaves.
According this author, it’s not a case of trying to clarify history as much as a canard to let the Left force reparations upon the rest of us.

A slap at the NYT’s 1619 Project
It’s clear to anyone with common sense that the 1619 Project is nothing more than an effort to politically define the history of the United States in a very negative manner.
Therefore, it’s refreshing to read something that shows the obvious and pointed areas in the diatribe.
First thing is the headline. Slavery in the United States did not start in 1619. The Spanish had African slaves in the early to mid 1500s.
The main story of American history is that, since its inception, the United States has always made efforts to reduce and eliminate slavery. And yes, forms of slavery existed here until the early 2000s.

The Honoring American Veterans in Extreme Need, or HAVEN, Act extends the same protection for veterans disability payments that's afforded Social Security disability payments: By law, debtors are now not allowed to count these benefits as disposable income subject to seizure during a bankruptcy.
Something I didn’t know. I thought retirement and disability payments are untouchable. Anyone have more information about that?


California governor blames Texas for California’s policies that caused the homeless crisis.
You have got to be kidding? No sane person could possibly make such an ignorant claim.
California’s authoritarian governor, Gavin Newsom, blamed the state of Texas for California’s homeless crisis. Rather than put the blame directly on the policies California has instituted that stifle free enterprise and punish heavily those who produce, Newsom said it’s the fault of Texas.
Newsom said many homeless people on the streets of San Francisco are from Texas in an attempt to shift the blame from himself and the polices of socialists (who get rich peddling socialism to the masses as everyone else becomes impoverished.)
No wonder I can never go home to the Flacky State.

It’s been done in country after country and the result has always been the same. Despotic rulers rise and force the yoke of government upon the people.
And some people simply never learn.
George Mason, the Father of the Bill of Rights, warned: “To disarm the people…was the best & most effectual way to enslave them.”
He was right more than 2 centuries ago and is still right today.
How important were firearms in throwing off tyranny, simply look to the lessons that our first president George Washington had taught:
“Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the people’s liberty teeth.”

And I’m probably the worst violator of the suggestion to take frequent mini-breaks during my sessions at the computer. (Gonna do one right now.)

Scott Bryan, an associate professor at Queensland University of Technology, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation the raft is floating towards Australia, and will hit the coast in about seven to 12 months. He says by that time, the raft will be "covered in a whole range of organisms of algae and barnacles and corals and crabs and snails and worms."
"Each piece of pumice is a rafting vehicle. It's a home and a vehicle for marine organisms to attach and hitch a ride across the deep ocean to get to Australia," Bryan told The Guardian.


India disenfranchising Muslims in Assam State
The article skirts around it but that’s the nitty-gritty of what’s going on.
India, the land of Mahatma Gandhi, the patron saint of pluralism, peace, and tolerance, is on the cusp of achieving a dubious distinction: At the end of this month, it is poised to launch the biggest disenfranchisement drive in human history by stripping up to 4 million predominantly Muslim residents in Assam, an eastern province bordering Bangladesh, of their citizenship. And as if this weren't bad enough, Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to go national with this crackdown.
And here is where it gets very definitive:
The Modi government is trying to pass a bill that would hand automatic citizenship to all Hindu, Buddhist, Parsee, and Christian migrants from neighboring countries — everyone that is, except for Muslims. The Muslims, the only ones left if the bills go through, will have to appear before foreign tribunals for a final determination.
Now, here’s a personal thought:
China has basicaly isolated its Muslim population and several other countries have done the same. Myramar is a good example.
And the leftist media is doing its best to label these countries as evil and inhuman. IMHO all they are doing is protecting themselves from a political movement set to take over those countries with its own form of extremely restrictive governance.

I can see the situation now. The president is told by his staff that Tropical Storm Dorian may turn into a hurricane to threaten Puerto Rico.
His response:

Young Americans No Longer Prioritize Patriotism and Religion
Results of the brain-washing of the Leftist education cadre. Create a “me too” and “feel good” generation of young people who no longer care about anything but themselves.
The poll focused on the values of patriotism, religion (described in the poll as a belief in God), having children, hard work, community involvement and tolerance for others.
The poll then focuses on three distinct age demographics. It categorizes Generation Z/Millennials as 18-38 year-olds, Generation X as 39-54 year-olds and Boomers/Silent as 55-91 year-olds.
The results?
61 percent of those surveyed still found patriotism to be “very important.”
50 percent of all those who were polled found religion to be very important.
43 percent of those polled described having children as important.

70 percent angry at political establishment
Only 70%? I thought it would be 90%+. With lots to do, they go on a six week vacation. That’s being responsible and responsive to the needs of their constituents?
Seventy percent of Americans said they feel angry because the political system seems to only be working for insiders with money and power, according to an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday. 
The poll found 43 percent of Americans said the statement described them “very well” and 27 percent said it described them “somewhat.”
It is statistically equivalent to the number of Americans who felt the same way four years ago, ahead of President Trump’s 2016 election, based on the poll. However, the feeling shifted from Republicans to Democrats.
So, it’s another poll that’s probably based on a small sample that claims to be accurate due to “polling science.”

The newly elected chief, Chuck Hoskin Jr., says it’s asserting a right promised in 1835 Treaty of New Echota. The same treaty that forced the Cherokee to take The Trail of Tears during which 4,000 died of disease, starvation and exhaustion.
So, what the big deal?
Kimberly Teehee, the tribe’s vice president of government relations, would join the current six non-voting members. Those representatives can't vote on the House floor, but they can vote in committees that they are on, introduce legislation and engage in debate.
Seems the major opposition would come from other Indian tribes claiming it would change their relationship with the federal government.

Democrats Brace for War over Supreme Court
If you think the Kavanaugh hearings were an evil circus, just wait for the chance of another Trump nominee in the event of another vacancy.
The Left is already manning the barricades. The resulting hearing will make the Brett Kavanaugh fiasco, a dark moment in U.S. history, look like a charming affair. In the event that President Donald Trump nominates Amy Coney Barrett, as many conservatives hope, this hearing will be a preview of the Apocalypse.
Will they do anything to keep her from the bench? After all, she’s young and could be on the bench for decades to come.
Dianne Feinstein has already previewed a primary argument to be wielded against Barrett if she is nominated with Feinstein's "dogma lives loudly within you" comments in 2017.  Democrats will argue that, as a believing Catholic, Barrett is somehow not qualified to be on the Supreme Court, that real believing Christians, vice the Nancy Pelosi variety, are biased and can't interpret the Constitution. 
The hearing should make entertaining television. One has to hope it will come BEFORE the election so Dimocrap antics will be fresh in the minds of the voters.

Obama Launches Move To ‘Redefine’ Vote, Establish Districts That Are ‘Fair Maps’
The redistricting scheme cooked up by Obama and Eric Holder, most people agree, is designed to completely disenfranchise all conservative voters so that every district in America is controlled by the left.
It’s impossible for him to stop trying to destroy our representative republic.
We know damn well they won’t be “fair.” Not by a long shot.
Incidentally, the Supreme Court recently dealt a blow to their scheme. So, they have simply repackaged it and moved forward.
The Court ruled 5-4 on Thursday that federal courts must stay out of partisan gerrymandering cases involving state-drawn congressional maps. The decision was a major setback for groups such as the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), an organization backed by former president Obama and founded by former attorney general Holder.
The only way to stop this attack is to shed light on it. Let every freedom-loving American know what this group is trying to do.
