Puerto Rico’s Governor makes President Trump look like a piker
Nearly 900 pages of supposedly secret messages by Governor Rosselló to his aides go far beyond anything the president has said about The Squad.
The chat, which came to light earlier this week, showed that the governor called former New York City Council speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito the Spanish word for "whore," and in English told the oversight board to "go f--- yourself" followed by a string of emojis with the middle finger raised.
People are demanding that he resign but he says he isn’t going anywhere.
The leak of at least 889 pages of the private chats has sunk Rosselló into the deepest crisis of his career, nearly two years after Hurricane María exposed Puerto Rico’s collapsing long-neglected infrastructure and leaving several thousand dead on Rosselló’s watch. Last week, two of his top former officials were arrested by the FBI on corruption charges.
In the chats on the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Rosselló calls one New York female politician of Puerto Rican background a “whore,” describes another as a “daughter of a bitch” and makes fun of an obese man he posed with in a photo. The chat also contains vulgar references to Puerto Rican star Ricky Martin’s homosexuality and a series of emojis of a raised middle finger directed at a federal control board overseeing the island’s finances.

Once again the media totally skews things. I’m sorry, but I don’t see one thing “racist” about any of it. In fact, he’s only saying what millions of Americans are who won’t ever be heard. Here are the two Tweets put together:

And then CAIR, the pro-terrorist pro-Islam group pipes up.
“Trump’s latest racist tweets echo the bigoted shouts of ‘go back where you came from’ heard daily by American Muslim women and children, immigrants and members of other minority communities across our nation. It is sad to see the occupant of the Oval Office transition from empowering and encouraging racist taunts to actually using them himself,” Awad said. “If Trump shouted the same thing at a Muslim woman wearing hijab in a Walmart, he might be arrested.”
Sure haven’t heard much from Kasich lately. Like he’s disappeared into the woodwork.

This is definitely one who needs to go back to where she came from. In fact, DOJ needs to investigate just how she got here, her bigamy with her brother, and her totally disgusting foul comments about the country that took her in from the slime pit of her birth.
“I will not dignify it with an answer because I know that every single Islamophobe, every single person who is hateful, who is driven by an ideology of ‘othering’ as this president is, rejoices in us responding to that and us defending ourselves,” Omar said.
And Omar, he said, deserves to be rebuked for constantly criticizing America.
“She has this bitterness and anger toward the country,” Paul said. “So I think she does deserve a rebuke over trying to say we have a rotten country.”
Bureau of Land Management to move headquarters from DC to Colorado
I’ve been reading a lot about this lately. Only 4% of the employees are in D,C, and the majority of those are high-level managers.
Around 300 BLM employees are expected to relocate out West under the move with at least 50 going to a newly created headquarters in Grand Junction, Colo., and the rest divided among the western states of Utah, Nevada and others, a spokesperson for Rep. Rob Bishop (R-Utah) confirmed to The Hill.
And some other government agencies are planning similar moves. And the unions are trying to fight them.
The decision to move West comes as other agencies are also planning to relocate parts of their teams. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has moved employees around several of its offices outside of D.C., and the U.S. Department of Agriculture gave more than 500 employees until Monday to decide whether to move to the Kansas City area.

New Law Increases VA Home Loan Limits, Funding Fees
How many vets will take advantage of this. And how many Realtors will have the info to help them take advantage of the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019?
Starting Jan. 1, any veteran who wants to take advantage of the VA's "zero-down payment" loan program will be able to do so, even in areas with high housing costs where veterans have historically been required to make a 25% down payment.
Under current law, the VA's maximum loan guarantee amount is calculated as a percentage of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation Act (Freddie Mac) limit, which is $484,350 for most counties.

Large pod of over 100 dolphins surrounds boat in California
A large pod of dolphins was spotted off the coast of southern California on Sunday.
Chuck Patterson filmed the animals from a boat just off Laguna Beach. He estimated more than 100 dolphins surrounded the vessel with most of the mammals swimming on one side as it raced up the coast.
Patterson said they were driving the boat for hydrofoil surfing when the dolphins started following in their wake.
"They seemed super happy, you could really feel the energy," he said.

There will probably be more but, IMHO, Scherie Murray probably has the best chance. Not only is she a female but an immigrant with extensive business experience.

Clear Majority of Mexicans Say Migrants Should Be Deported Back to Their Home Countries
This should come as no surprise.
A new poll conducted by the Washington Post found that the clear majority of Mexicans think migrants should be deported back to their home countries.
The survey, which was conducted in partnership with Mexico’s Reforma newspaper, found that Mexicans are “deeply frustrated” with immigrants traveling through their country from Central America.
6 in 10 Mexicans say migrants are a burden on their country taking jobs that should belong to citizens, the poll found.
55 per cent of Mexicans also support deporting migrants who go through Mexico to the United States, compared to just 7 per cent who want to give them residency in Mexico.
They take their food, fill their streets with their feces and trash, and no few are being offered work that Mexicans feel to be theirs. Mexico’s president is facing a backlash and has established all sorts of barriers to immigrants coming from the south.

I’ve seen some interesting descriptions of the so-called Squad, but this is, by far, the best! The author then points out this:
All Trump did, all he is guilty of is telling the truth about how horrible these women are — how they appease terrorists; how they smear America as a country filled with concentration camps; how they destroy tens of thousands of jobs in New York; how they’re raging antisemites who despise Jews; how they’re preening, wannabe dictators desperate for personal power through socialism; and how, yes, they are straight-up racists…
And here was his main, enduring message:
Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done.
But, of course they won’t. They’re enamored with their new fame and all the perks that comes with it.

India to deport all illegal migrants
No messing around.
Not just Muslims sneaking into the country from Bangladesh but everywhere.
Home Minister Amit Shah told parliament that the government would not limit its efforts to Assam, but would come down hard on illegal immigrants anywhere.
Shah called illegal migrants “termites” that he said were eating into Assam’s resources during the election campaign, Reuters reports.

It appears that not only is Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar under the microscope for marrying her brother, engaging in immigration fraud, violating federal law and being as anti-American as you can get, but now her father has come into the picture.  And it isn’t pretty.  According to a recent report, Omar’s father, Nur Omar Mohamed (aka Nur Said Elmi Mohamed), was not only tied to the former dictator in Somalia, Said Barre, but now he and his accomplices are now living in the US in violation of federal law.
How in the hell does she get away with it?
And the others?
The Immigration and Nationality Act (I.N.A.) contains a prohibition on naturalization for anyone involved, within the last ten years, with a group that advocates or teaches opposition to all organized government; or involved with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party of the U.S. or any foreign state; or who advocates world communism or totalitarian dictatorship even without formal group membership. (See I.N.A. Section 313).”
And here comes the big one!
So, the question is, why has Attorney General William Barr not followed through on Omar, Nur or Yusuf?
President Donald Trump has said that Ilhan Omar should get out of the US if she isn’t happy with it here, and I agree, but more than that, perhaps it’s time her crimes were exposed, she and her father and his accomplices were indicted and sent packing.
An aside. Was the president’s tweets about The Squad a feint to get information like this into the spotlight?

Trump administration tells federal agencies to be ‘rigorous’ in evaluating employees
In other words, tell it like it is. No more cut and paste evaluations.
WASHINGTON — The Trump administration has ordered federal agencies to apply "rigorous performance standards" when rating employees, calling for tougher assessments used in deciding promotions, cash bonuses and disciplinary measures such as firing.
"Agencies should ensure only employees who have demonstrated the highest levels of individual performance receive the highest annual ratings of record and the highest performance awards," said one of a pair of memos issued late last week.
And the unions aren’t exactly thrilled by that.
A 2018 OPM report showed that in 2016, 51.7 percent of the 6,600 career executives were rated as outstanding, 40.7 percent as exceeds fully successful, 7.2 percent as fully successful, and 0.4 percent as either minimally successful or unacceptable.
Are you telling me that 90% of government employees are doing their job that well?
Okay, here’s my 2 cents.
Employees are rated to make their bosses look good.
If you declare that someone isn’t doing their job up to par, the question arises as to what you, as the supervisor, are doing to improve that job performance.
Having written countless performance evaluations I can tell you that 99% of them have the same platitudes.

Marines tell Rep Hunter to stop using Marine Corps stuff in his reelection campaign

The Marine Corps Trademark Licensing Office has sent Hunter, a Marine veteran, a cease and desist letter telling him to quit using the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor emblem along w
ith the phrase, "No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy," on a fundraising mailer that accuses his political opponent of having links to terrorism, NBC News first reported on Wednesday.
"Please be advised that you are more than welcome to simply and accurately state that you are a Marine Corps veteran, or provide other information about your service that is based on fact," according to the letter, which NBC News posted online. "As an alternative, we do offer a 'Marine Veteran' logo (Attachment B) for use by Marines to indicate their pride
Hunter, a former Major, is in hot water over using campaign funds to support 5 extramarital affairs.

Small Town America lacking lawyers
This should not surprise anyone. Most get a law degree to get big salaries and eventually end up in big companies with tons of perks.
Who wants to work in Podunk for peanuts, maybe even having to take a second job just to get by?
While cities are trying to reform their criminal-justice systems, smaller, more far-flung locales are struggling to provide basic services.
Some of this can be attributed to the use of jails as a moneymaker for rural places with few other industries. Government agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, provide money for counties to build jails as a form of economic stimulus. Counties, in turn, build bigger jails. The space is used in part to house state or federal inmates in exchange for “rent.” Vera and other organizations have pointed out that jail construction isn’t a fail-safe path to economic development, especially because if jails close due to unconstitutionally poor conditions, the county is left footing the bill, which can bankrupt local governments.
But many of these rural jails house a large number of local defendants who are awaiting trial, as Keene was. According to Vera, while urban pretrial populations began to level off and then decline in the early 2000s, those populations kept growing in rural counties, eventually eclipsing urban ones. In 2013, rural counties had 265 pretrial detainees per 100,000 people, almost one-third higher than the urban rate.

'I was so livid': Disney heiress visits theme park to see worker 
Uncle Walt is turning over in his grave. I know from personal experience that he made it a point to go around the park every day to see how things were going and to talk to the employees. He cared about them and did his best to ensure they were taken care of.
I should point out that Abigail Disney says she’s worth $120 million.
As an heiress to the Disney fortune, anything Abigail Disney says about the brand beloved by millions worldwide garners attention. And she’s calling out Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger for his nearly $66 million yearly salary, saying he isn’t doing enough to rectify the huge gap between his own earnings and those of other Disney workers.
After receiving complaints, she visited Disneyland.
“Every single one of these people I talked to were saying, ‘I don't know how I can maintain this face of joy and warmth when I have to go home and forage for food in other people's garbage,’” she recalled, adding that this was not the work environment her grandfather Roy O. Disney sought out to create.
The corporation wasn’t very happy with her assessment.
