Democrats have fallen into Trump's impeachment trap
Oh no! Do you think that President Trump has ramped up this impeachment farce on purpose? To alienate Democrats and get Independents and on-the-fence Republicans to get out the vote for him and GOP candidates at all levels?
"The Democratic Party is very desperate to impeach Trump because they have no one for 2020, so their only option is to come after Trump for anything," Suave says. "The Democratic Party has shown their true colours, how evil they are. And they're just dirt. They're no good."
This from a guy living in Corona, Calif who was born in Mexico and came to the US when he was 5.
Inman feels it's possible the Democrats aren't studying history quite closely enough.
"We always tell you guys, 'Learn from history, that's why you take history class,'" he tells his daughter. "Yet we seem to kind of be repeating ourselves."
From a GOP voter in the same area.
Trump campaign raises $15 million in 72 hours since Pelosi announced impeachment inquiry
The Dims never learn. You attack someone or something with conservative standards and there’s always a backlash. Take Chick-fil-A as an example. The Left screams and has fits and people patronize it to the point of its now being #3 in the land.
Eric Trump said on Friday that impeachment has energized his dad's campaign
Claimed $15 million in small dollar donations since Pelosi's announcement
Democrats hope their base will be similarly energized by impeachment push
Swell of contributions comes before next week's financial reporting deadline
And the money will continue to pour in.
The Trump Call with Ukraine’s president opens a can of worms for Biden
It’s not that the president asked for a further investigation, it’s that he let the world know of Biden’s pressuring to get his kid out of the way of possible prosecution for some serious charges.
The Biden-Ukraine money problem is not something new. Five years ago, on May 14, 2014, The Washington Post headline warned: “Hunter Biden’s new job at Ukrainian gas company is a problem for U.S. soft power.”
Vice President Biden’s intervention to protect his son, and his son’s company Burisma, from a Ukrainian corruption investigation, was heavy-handed and amazingly arrogant. And there is no question that Biden interfered. In his own words to the Council on Foreign Relations on Jan. 23, 2018, Biden clearly pushed to have the prosecutor who was investigating his son fired:
“I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from [former Ukrainian President] Poroshenko and from [former Prime Minister Arseniy] Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t.
They paid the kid $50k per month for a job he was totally unqualified for.
And all of this happened long before Donald Trump even announced that he was going to run for the presidency.
But that means nothing to the hate-filled and blind Dims.
And what will be the results?
There no chance at all that Donald Trump will ever be impeached.
None.
But the farce presented by the Dims will drive every Trump supporter to the 2020 polls to vote them out of office, And to strongly urge their friends and neighbors to do the same – giving them comvincing arguments to do so. Many who are currently on the fence or claim disinterest in voting, with join them at the polls.
Finally, marginal Dims will stay home out of shame for what members of the party are and have been doing.
Watch for it.

Trump Reelection Depends on New Voters @ https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2019/09/27/trump_reelection_depends_on_new_voters__141359.html
Another negative article about the president’s chances for reelection. As usual, full of ifs and buts, ignoring a whole lot of truths.
And then comes this:
Political Realignment Is Coming to America
What’s interesting is the following:
There are a surprising number of liberals, progressives, and even socialists, who are not only anti-Clinton, but are begrudgingly, and increasingly, capable of seeing the positive side of the Trump presidency.
Conservatives scolded for attacking Biden’s child, but remember how the Left treats Barron?
If it weren’t for double standards, the left would have no standards at all.
Most of America has heard of Hunter Biden by now. The son of Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden pulled down a hefty $50,000-a-month salary as a board member for a Ukraine energy company called Burisma Holdings that’s now at the center of a controversy engulfing Washington.
But the other reason Biden’s son has been in the news is a troubling paternity case in which, according to the Washington Examiner, an Arkansas woman says he is the father of a baby girl.
An amoral, deadbeat dad drug addict should be given a break while the media goes after a 13 year old boy who purportedly is doing awesome in school?
Indonesia: Three couples publicly flogged for un-Islamic public affection
A trio of canoodling couples were publicly flogged in Indonesia’s Aceh province on Thursday, charged with breaking local Islamic law that outlaws public displays of affection.
Despite international condemnation, whipping is a common punishment for a range of offences in the deeply conservative region on Sumatra island, including gambling, drinking alcohol, and having gay or pre-marital sex.
Make you all warm and fuzzy Baout the possibility of similar punishments of disobeying Sharia Law here in the USA?
It’s gonna happen if people don’t wake up to the Muslim invasion pushed by Obama during his eight years of “Hope and Change.”

Walrus attacks Russian Navy, sinking inflatable boat
Don’t fool with a mother protecting her young.
Last week, a Russian Navy rescue tug—the Altai from the Northern Fleet—dispatched a rigid inflatable boat to Wilczek Island in the Franz Josef Land archipelago, which is an Arctic island chain occupied only by wildlife and Russian military personnel. Aboard the boat were sailors and scientists from the Russian Geographic Society, and as they attempted a landing at Cape Geller, their boat was attacked and sunk by a female walrus, "[which] she probably did fearing for her cubs," an RGO news release noted.
The Russians report that no walruses were hurt during the incident.

An estimated 24 million wild pigs in Australia
Carcasses being loaded into a truck bed to be hauled to a nearby crocodile farm.
Problem is that the crocs can’t eat the hair so they have to be skinned first.
Hundreds of feral pig carcasses have been brought to a racetrack in central Queensland as part of a competition where almost everyone is a winner — especially a nearby crocodile farm.
A P&C fundraiser in the Queensland town of Dingo has seen hundreds of feral pigs eradicate
The competition took place over two nights and attracted hunters from Queensland and NSW
The spoils have been donated to a crocodile farm and will feed baby crocs for months
The inaugural Hogs N Dogs competition in Dingo attracted hunters from across Queensland and New South Wales who spent two nights in the bush in the hope of bagging some of the pests.

US President Trump and India Prime Minister Modi hold rally
50,000 people in attendance.
Indian/Americans tend to vote Blue
Nearly two dozen American elected officials joined Trump and Modi for the event, including Republican Representative Pete Olson of Texas, who has long been close to India; Democratic Representatives Al Green and Sheila Jackson Lee, whose nearby districts are home to many Indian Americans; and Democratic Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi of Illinois, the only Indian American member of Congress in attendance. Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California, took to MSNBC instead, where he reinforced that pluralism is a value the Indian American community reveres. “The president is just misinformed if he thinks showing up at this rally is somehow going to help him with the Indian American vote,” Khanna said.
Can you imagine Jackson Lee during Trump’s part of the rally?
One overwhelming theme was the fight against terrorism. Modi referred to Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh, an immensely popular part of his speech.
President Trump wasn’t specific.

Older Americans Are Starting More Businesses Than Ever
Retire, reboot, become an entrepreneur.
Makes sense. One has years of experience to enable new experiences with a bit of common sense.
The 55- to 64-year-old age group accounted for 26% of new entrepreneurs in 2017, according to the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. That’s a significant increase over the 15% figure from 1996. Research by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor shows the same age group has the highest rate of business startup activity globally over the past decade.
And they partner with younger people.
One of the most powerful motivators comes from dissatisfaction with the traditional view of retirement. Full-time leisure isn’t always as engaging as it’s usually portrayed. Mike Fronk, 77, spent much of his career working in management for two large companies, General Mills Inc. and Land O’Lakes Inc. He took early retirement near his 60th birthday in 2002. Soon after he partnered with his adult children and bought a small networking IT business in his native Minneapolis. “What many of us stereotypically expected was we’d get up at 9 a.m., have coffee, read the papers, watch the news—and we had no clue after that,” he says, laughing. “I always looked for meaning.”
Ken Burns on His Eight-Year Dive into Country Music
The groundbreaking documentary filmmaker’s new series, Country Music, which took almost a decade to make, covers the human stories wrapped up in the genre’s uniquely American history
I’ve seen the first five two-hour episodes and can tell you they were riveting, interesting, entertaining, and informative.
I knew Johnny Cash had been big into drugs and Roger Miller’s addiction was news to me. (Now I can’t get the lyrics to “Dang Me” out of my head)
The film runs chronologically, tracing the many influences that shaped country music, from enslaved people bringing the banjo across the Atlantic from Africa all the way to the heyday of pop-country in the mid-1990s. The genre, Burns reveals, is less a set of rules and boundaries than it is a spectrum—one that trades on universal truths and bridges cultural, racial, and economic divides.
Here’s a paragraph of the story I find most valuable:
The much larger theme [that emerged] is that this supposedly “white” music is also black, and this supposedly “male” music is also very, very female. The original guitarist is Mother Maybelle. Everybody flows from her, including Eddie Van Halen shredding guitar. I think it’s always a struggle for a woman, just as it’s always a struggle for an African-American. You have to be that much better, that much more perfect, in order to get by. The bar is much higher. But the history of country music is a history of super strong women, and we rejoice in being able to tell that tale.
And this was surprising. We all know what a massive star Gene Autry was, but I never guessed this about him:
Just that he was able to meet her at a fair—you see that personable quality in country musicians throughout. There’s an anecdote in the film about Gene Autry, that his wife kept a filing system of the names and addresses of the fans who wrote to him, and when he came into town, he would look them up and give them a call. I love that you included that detail.
Can you imagine sitting at home and answering a phone call to discover Gene Autry is calling you to thank you for a fan letter?

Trump campaign retaliates against 2016 staffer’s kissing claim
She files a claim in Disrict Court and then tells the national media that he forced himself upon her.
When she dropped her suit earlier this month, Johnson said, "I am facing a judge who openly questions whether the kiss is worthy of a federal lawsuit and has determined that Mr. Trump's history of such behavior is not relevant, and I've endured on-going threats to my safety."
More importantly, it’s a clear signal that the Trump campaign is going after anyone who tries to break their nondisclosure statements. “Work for us a play by the rules. Or else.” Or words to that effect.
U.S. Deploys Patriot Air Defense Systems, Troops to Saudi Arabia
I was certain that we had already sold them some of these and it turned out to be right. They have them all centered in the southern part of the country to deal with missiles from Yemen.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. is sending one Patriot missile battery and four ground-based radar systems to Saudi Arabia, the Pentagon said Thursday, in what officials describe as the first steps to help the kingdom protect itself against Iranian attacks.
Two more Patriot batteries and a THAAD missile defense system will be prepared to go later if needed, and the deployment will involve about 200 troops.
I’m just wondering if we’re going to get them to pay us for using the troops.
Fresh Anti-Beard Campaign Reported In Uzbekistan
This is a lot more than it seems.
According to Muslim belief, men are not allowed to cut off their beards. So why are the police rounding them up, taking them in, and shaving off their beards?
The Tashkent police responded to the criticism in late August, saying that for security reasons some men were asked to shave off the beards so that their faces resembled the photos on their biometric passports.
Since coming to power in 2016, President Shavkat Mirziyoev has taken modest steps to relax restrictions on religious freedom in the predominantly Muslim country of more than 30 million people.
But religion in Uzbekistan remains strictly regulated by authorities.
The government reportedly continues to bar the wearing of the Islamic hijab in schools and offices. A 1998 law prohibits the wearing of religious clothing in public, with the exception of religious figures.
There have also been frequent reports of police singling out men with long beards, a campaign presented by officials as an effort to combat radical Islam in Central Asia's most populous nation with deep Islamic roots and traditions.
Get that last part? To combat “radical Islam.”
As all of Islam is radical, what is the real goal of this president?
Could it be to reduce or even eliminate the power of the Mullahs?
It also makes me wonder if the leadership there isn’t following what they see the Chinese authorities doing in their Xinjiang Region?
The private Christian school Karen Pence teaches at is embroiled in an alleged hate crime
If there was ever a perfect example of media bias, this is it.
So 3 white boys hold her down and cut her dreadlocks, calling her ugly and that she shouldn’t have been born.
Yes, an ugly hate crime that should never be tolerated.
But, what the hell does Second Lady Karen Pence have to do with it? She teaches art part-time at the school.
The media does everything it can to disparage the president and vice president and their families.
Disgusting!
Spanish company working for the CIA spied on Assange inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London
According to El Pais, Undercover Global installed microphones in the embassy's fire extinguishers as well as in the women's toilets where Assange's lawyers used to meet for fear of being spied on.
It said the company also installed a streaming system so the recordings could be directly accessed by US officials, enabling them to spy on a meeting Assange had with Ecuador's secret service chief Rommy Vallejo in December 2017.
Is this why they’re keeping him hidden from the public?
Major Dem Donors Say They'd Rather Support Trump
The revelations come courtesy of a Thursday CNBC article that claimed major Wall Street and big business donors are voicing their opposition to Warren.
“Wall Street Democratic donors warn the party: We’ll sit out, or back Trump, if you nominate Elizabeth Warren,” the CNBC headline said.
Seems they want to back Biden. Maybe some of the dirt coming out about him and his kid are hurting him in the polls.
Boohoo.
Although they came from a variety of different industries and firms, all these anonymous critics had a similar message: Warren is bad for Wall Street and she’s bad for business.

Obesity due to ultra-processed foods?
The study indicates that when we eat these foods, it takes longer for us to feel full so we eat more.
“Hall’s study is seminal—really as good a clinical trial as you can get,” says Barry M. Popkin, a professor of nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who focuses on diet and obesity. “His was the first to prove that ultraprocessed foods are not only highly seductive but that people tend to eat more of them.” The work has been well received, although it is possible that the carefully controlled experiment does not apply to the messy way people mix food types in the real world.
It also discusses insulin levels and the retention of body fats.
And then comes this:
“We were not surprised to find that when you manipulate the level of carbohydrates versus fats, you do see very different insulin levels,” Hall says. He had expected the low-carb diet would reduce insulin activity. “But what did surprise us was that we did not see a significant effect of the sharply lower insulin levels on the rate of calories burned over time or on body fat.” Typically lowered insulin affects the way fat cells burn calories. Yet, Halls says, “we found that the reduced-carbohydrate diet slightly slowed body fat loss.”
Here’s what you CAN eat:

Catholic Charities can refuse adoptions by same-sex couples
A federal chief judge appointed by George Bush rules that “What St. Vincent has not done and will not do is give up its traditional Catholic belief that marriage as instituted by God is for one man and one woman.”
Ohmahgawd. That should drive the Leftist crowd nuts.
He ruled against a Democrat attorney general that clearly targeted the organization for its religious beliefs.
“When we open our hearts to faith, we fill our hearts with love,” Trump said. “Many of the people in this room lead and support the charities and faith-based institutions that bring hope to the lives of our citizens, comfort to those in despair, and solace to those in grief, aid to those in need, and a helping hand to the struggling people all around the world, of which there are so many.”
Time to Set the Record Straight on Slavery
A lengthy article with lots and lots of facts backed up by linked references. Here are a couple of highlights:
The poorest people in America are better off than people in most other nations. A recent study found that when you include the myriad welfare programs available to Americans, the bottom 20 percent of income-earners in the U.S. are better off materially than everyone in most of the nations of Europe. Another study found that the bottom 10 percent in the U.S. do better than the top 10 percent in Russia and that our nation's poor do better than virtually everyone in India and better than 85 percent of those living in China
And then comes this:
But slavery has not been abolished. Mauritania, the last nation to publicly condone slavery, officially outlawed it finally in 2007. However, the truth is that slavery in Mauritania is alive and well, with as much as 10–20 percent of the population (340,000 to 680,000) in bondage. Algeria (106,000), Sudan (35,000 or more), Libya (48,000), and certain other nations still practice slavery
And the major slave traders were – Muslims.
