New York Times Spreads Fake News About Nikki Haley’s $52,701 Curtains
Plus the $58,000 per month penthouse.
The fake news never stops. No wonder nobody trusts the media.
In the first paragraph, the far-left Times goes on to attack Haley and President Trump’s State Department because they “spent $52,701 last year buying customized and mechanized curtains for the picture windows in Nikki R. Haley’s official residence as ambassador to the United Nations, just as the department was undergoing deep budget cuts and had frozen hiring.”
The word “spent” is crucial, however, because after five whole paragraphs describing Haley’s “spectacular views” in her leased $58,000 a month “full-floor penthouse, with handsome hardwood floors covering large open spaces stretching nearly 6,000 square feet,” the Times at long last reveals the truth… …
The Obama administration ordered those $52,701 curtains.
What’s more the Obama administration chose the $58,000 per month penthouse.
Slid quietly into the Times piece is this: “the State Department decided in 2016 to find a new home for its top New York diplomat because of security concerns.”
That of course is TimesSpeak for, “The Obama administration chose these $58,000 a month living quarters for a UN Ambassador they were sure would be working for Hillary Clinton.”

New York Times: The Relationship Between President Trump And Secretary of Defense Mattis May Have "Soured" To The Point Of No Return
Doesn’t this rag ever stop publishing this tripe? Or is it a desperate attempt to stay in business?
In its report, The Times cited more then a dozen administration and congressional officials saying that national security aides such as Mattis have effectively been iced out by Trump ahead of the 2018 congressional midterm elections. Trump is reportedly souring on Mattis based on policy differences on a number of fronts, and appears resentful of unflattering comparisons between the two men, the publication reported.
In addition, the president is reportedly looking to replace the four star general with someone “who would be more vocally supportive than Mr. Mattis, who is vehemently protective of the American military against perceptions it could be used for political purposes,” the Times reported.
Who they hell do they think will buy this garbage?
WarNewsUpdate Editor: According to the New York Times, anonymous sources are saying that the relationship "MAY" have soured to the point of no return. In short .... they do not know. As to the bigger question .... should he be replaced? There are pluses and minuses to replacing someone like Secretary of Defense Mattis. At the moment his position appears to be secure, but he serves at the pleasure of the U.S. President, and President Trump may want someone else.

In his eight years in office, the 44th president helped deliver to the GOP (in no particular order) the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House, nine governorships and roughly 900 seats in state legislatures.
The Republican National Committee should give the man a medal.
And now the ex-president is back for an encore, reminding Americans not only why Donald Trump rather than Hillary Clinton sits in the Oval Office today but also why Democrats’ hopes for a “blue wave” in November might be overblown.
Obama is great for voter turnout all right—Republican turnout.
Democrats may not see it that way, which is just fine . . .

Trump, Scientism, and Puerto Rico
Oh really? 3,000 dead due to Hurricane Maria. Prove it!
In other words, to estimate, the experts first had to . . . you guessed it . . . estimate. Then they had to guess how many people might have left Puerto Rico—another estimate. Moreover, the total estimates are based on information from September 2017 to February 2018—five months! Worse still, they admit they cannot establish any actual causality for the estimated number of deaths. They had to estimate it!
No death certificates. No burial numbers. And with everyone having electronic devices, where are the personal stories of all these deaths?
Trump makes the only sane claim: we don’t really know how many people died as a result of the hurricane, but it is awfully suspicious that the numbers went up so dramatically only to be used as a cudgel in our hyperpartisan debate. This seems both factually correct and commonsensical. But a large segment of the population, including most of the “highly educated,” believed Trump has denied science because there exist charts that make different claims.

Even Ruth Bader Ginsburg Is Sick of Democrat Grandstanding and She’s Speaking Out
Will the heavens fall? Will Leftist heads explore? What on earth is going on here?

It’s possible to read those comments and even leave aside the fact that Ginsburg has herself been part of the problem by deciding to break the nonpartisan nature of the court by commenting negatively on Donald Trump’s presidential run, but that seems absolutely quaint compared to what we saw last week from the Senate Judiciary Committee.
It was kind of difficult to figure out which Democrat came out looking worse: Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey or Sen. Kamala Harris of California. Both were clearly positioning for 2020 presidential runs and both came out looking much worse in the process.

Fist Pump Story Fake News!
The media goes nuts and doesn’t even bother to tell the truth.
Well, here’s the truth from a serviceman who was there.
A National Guardsman, however, told a different story to The Daily Caller about what the fist pump was about.
“The POTUS landed at our Johnstown flight facility, a military installation owned by the Reserves and the National Guard, and, well, prior to his arrival, we were allowed to gather in this designated area to greet him prior to his boarding a helicopter and flying to the Flight 93 memorial service,” wrote the anonymous guardsman in a letter.
“As he approached us soldiers, marines, and airmen, many were shouting and waving at him. That is when he did the ‘double fist pump’ — he was genuinely happy to say hello and shake hands, and you could tell he was proud to be greeted by ‘his’ military members.”
“I am telling you this because not even an hour later, the press was criticizing him for doing that on hallowed ground, and he should have been more respectful of the heroes of Flight 93,” the account continues.
“Well, I got to see FIRSThand how biased the liberal media is towards him. They took a photo completely twisted it around to make him look bad, and it was nowhere near the truth. And our past president has the nerve to also criticize the POTUS for shunning the media. I wonder why he does. So, that is the truth of what really happened, not the story the media produced or the haters of our president.”

FEMA Uses Waffle House to Determine How Bad the Storm Damage Is
I saw this on FoxNews this morning and was amazed that a bunch of bureaucrats could actually come up with something that makes sense.
As for the FEMA index, it has three color-coded levels. “Green means everything is fine, at least in the Waffle House; yellow is when the restaurant serves a limited menu, meaning the area lost power or they’re running low on supplies; and red is if it’s closed, showing the area has been hit hard,” according to reporting from the New York Post.
The chain posted a photo Wednesday of corporate employees monitoring the storm’s path as they discussed whether any locations would close.

Wilmington, NC Police Say Management Told Them to Not Intervene
Brazen looters! Why not tell it like it is. A bunch of n*****s do what they always do, take what doesn’t belong to them because society owes them something.
Dozens of people were seen on camera looting a Family Dollar store in Wilmington, North Carolina, Saturday afternoon. Police announced they were told by store management to “stand down”. Wilmington is one of many towns being pummeled by Hurricane, now Tropical Storm Florence in North and South Carolina this weekend.
Video broadcast live by WECT-TV shows brave reporter Chelsea Donovan confronting looters as they first leave the front of the store, and then the rear, with trash bags filled with stolen merchandise. While the store is across from a public housing project, and looters could be seen heading that way, other looters were piling stolen merchandise in cars parked near the store.

Afghanistan, 17 Years Later
It hasn’t got a hell of a lot better. Billions of $$$$ and unknown gallons of sacred blood, all for what?
The distance between Resolute Support headquarters and the Afghan presidential palace in Kabul can’t be more than 50 feet, yet it is too dangerous to walk across the street from one to the other.
So U.S. troops will likely be committed to Afghanistan for the foreseeable future. But given that an American citizen born on September 11th, 2001, is now old enough to fight in the war that day spawned, it’s possible that the last service member to return home from Afghanistan hasn’t even been born yet.

The European media especially is aroar over this. How could an exiled religious leader make such an inhumane comment? Unbelievable.
It makes no difference that he’s right on the spot. These mostly able-bodied males should be in their own countries working to restore and rebuild. Not cowering in foreign lands suck up the social welfare from those rightly entitled to it.
The Dalai Lama made his remarks on Sept. 12 in Malmo, Sweden, which has a large immigrant population, reported the AFP. Malmo also has a major crime problem, largely due to the massive influx of immigrants from Middle Eastern and African countries.  Malmo has been called the "rape capital of Europe." 
Speaking to the crowd, the Dalai Lama said of refugees, "Receive them, help them, educate them ... but ultimately they should develop their own country."
"I think Europe belongs to the Europeans," he said, reported the AFP.

F-15 Better Interceptor than F-22
All those billions and the F-22 falls short in an encounter with a Russian Tu-95 nuclear-capable bomber and Su-35 fighters.
Why? Because the Russian fighter is more maneuverable. Only the superior training of American pilots give the F-22 a chance.
But with today's rules of engagement, the F-22's huge advantages in stealth mean little.
During an intercept, a jet pulls up next to the plane that has invaded its airspace and tells the plane, via radio, some version of "turn around, or this will escalate."
At this time, it's customary for the jet to tilt its wings and show the intruder a wing full of missiles. But the F-22 could never do that; because of its stealth design, the F-22 stores all missiles and bombs internally.
A pilot intruding into US or US-protected airspace who meets an F-22 really has no idea whether the jet is armed. The Russian Su-35 holds more missiles than the F-22, and it holds them where everyone can see.
On top of that, if a routine interception were to turn kinetic, the F-22 would start the battle at a huge disadvantage.
